Doyley on a side note was there any discussion about the possibility about splitting the Challenge Circuit into Master & Pro Tours. Yes there were discussions but Tim's work schedule won't allow any changes of that type at this time.

First season for me on TGCT. Thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in various aspects of the Tour.
My only comment on the Tours is the Promo events. From a personal point of view the two promotions I was the beneficiary of has left me in a division that is no doubt above my skill level, promoted over better players just by taking part when they perhaps didn’t (I know, nobody forced me to take part!! lol).
Many thanks to those who put so much hard work into making the Tours such a resounding success.

scout cam, ball marker (putting), and green grids (I know this won't happen). I see you already responded to another post regarding the scout cam. Wasn't aware of that pc issue. Wonder if the pc players would promise to never do that. Ever. 😉 I just think scout cam and ball marker off would bring a little more "skill?" into play. Maybe not. Not to get sidetracked, but have you ever considered freeing up one spot/society and having a "house rules" challenge event where you could set up different or weird conditions as a "funner". I know, totally off OP. Sorry. Lastly, just want to say THANK YOU to you and everyone behind the scenes that make this site a reality. Without this site, this game would have zero replay value, for me. Now, about those green grids..... 😉 Isn't all this already available in the TST? Yes and no. Just suggesting a little more realism to the highest levels. For the most part, the pro tours use the same aids as CC and Beginner. Should it be that way? Just asking.

I certainly do not want to turn off any more aids. And I am a PGA player. Unlike real golf we are looking at a 2D screen. And cannot feel the wind.
I have played TST and to me it’s no more like real golf than with the aids on. Just artificially more difficult.

Should it be that way? Just asking. I get what you're saying about the realism, but it's really not the same. I am an avid golfer, and while I don't have a wind meter, I can feel the breeze on my face, and have a pretty good idea of what adjustment I need to make. I don't have blind tee shots because I know the course, and the same with elevation. Yardage is exact, because as an amateur a range finder is 💯 legal. Taking all that away would definitely be an adjustment, and by playing practice rounds, you could get your numbers and lines picked out. Also, without actually being on the course, it's nearly impossible to actually know the actual elevation difference. I personally don't have that kind of time to dedicate consistently, so I would hope to move down to a level where I could still play competitively. This is just one guys opinion.

A huge thanks to the admins and volunteers that keep this great community up and running. As someone who has been here since the 1st ever tournament I say keep the tours set up as they are. With young kids I struggle to find time to play my 4 tournament rounds let alone practice time to learn courses and read greens without grids. Another thanks to the guys in charge...without the work you put in this is a game I would have stopped playing 5 years ago but instead I have been playing weekly since January of 2015. Which I never expected when I signed up.

A simple thing as no lie-grid goes a very long way. You can still SEE the slope, but it's much tougher to judge.
To each their own.
Scout cam and wind meter need to stay.
Meh.
I'll be demoted.
Lolol.

It's a shame there won't be any changes but I figured that would be the case since the oppression doesn't effect the systems of the powers that be.
Ah well, on to the next season (if HB leaves any courses for us to play 😂😂)

I think the lack of response to this thread indicates most people are content with the current set up. I am I'd also like to thank everyone involved here at TGCT for all you do. By far the most enjoyment and interaction I've ever had with a video game. Thank You!

Oppression... 🤣
There's no real way out of the deadlock - so in reality nothing could be done, but sit tight & hope we get better next version.
Same thanks to the admins as everyone else obvs - sure the silent majority all feel the same - so I'll be a proxy for their thanks too 👍

I bust on Doyley (sucks) all the time, but he does one hell of a job with almost everything around here. A lot of thankless hours behind the scenes dealing with an inordinate amount of incredible BS.

Hadn't thought about the lie grid. I like that idea! See, that's why some of you guys make the big bucks on tour.
