I just want to thank everyone who helps keep the Tours going, the admins, schedulers, design Contest committee, reviewers, judges, TGCT TV guys, and rangers. Without the work that they put in the Tours wouldn't exist, also a shout out to the guys that run the societies and leagues who help retain the members we have here.
Also a wee mention for the design community from the experienced to the first time designers that provide us with the variety of courses we play every week.

Doyley any consideration to "tweaking" the # of aids the pro tours use? Just asking. ☺ Not really to be honest - taking aids away is very polarizing so it'd have to be fairly minor (like the wind icon) for me to consider. Which aids are you thinking of? scout cam, ball marker (putting), and green grids (I know this won't happen). I see you already responded to another post regarding the scout cam. Wasn't aware of that pc issue. Wonder if the pc players would promise to never do that. Ever. 😉 I just think scout cam and ball marker off would bring a little more "skill?" into play. Maybe not. Not to get sidetracked, but have you ever considered freeing up one spot/society and having a "house rules" challenge event where you could set up different or weird conditions as a "funner". I know, totally off OP. Sorry. Lastly, just want to say THANK YOU to you and everyone behind the scenes that make this site a reality. Without this site, this game would have zero replay value, for me. Now, about those green grids..... 😉

I'll be fighting to make cuts next season as I'm turning more assists off! FTW! However, I have my new list of rivals and can't wait for next season! Thanks to all involved for one hell of an online career mode!

Thanks to all who have made this Tour what it is, really appreciate it and thoroughly enjoy the competition. I asked this question elsewhere but this seems the best place to ask: do promotion marks carry over to the new season?

First off, thank you to all the admins/volunteers who make this site possible. Though I’ve owned just about every golf game, I’m a relative newcomer to TGC Tours. Can’t imagine the hard work behind the scenes.
With that, my only discouragement is I used to think shooting -30 was a pretty darn good score. But when I see -15 Round 1 (CC-D) and -50 for 4 rounds, I wonder whether I should just tank my rounds and be demoted to E. I no longer feel like I’m competing on a level field competition wise. What would be great, if CC-D was split in 2 groups. Instead of being promoted from CC-D to CC-C which will never happen for me unless I get lucky on a promotion event, I’d feel much better knowing I made it from a lower level of D to a higher level D. So sort of like an upper and lower D flight.

I am even going to drop back from Masters to Pro clubs to see if I can at least move up a bit, but since it is mostly putting that holds me back I don't know if that will work. As for "competing on a level field" I am pretty sure that all those folks who are at the top of the leaderboard are just better golfers than me, and I have to swallow my pride and try to improve. I will not play in any more promotion events until I have confidence I can compete at the next level though.

Thanks to everyone for all their hard work to keeping TGCT running and great for all that are involved. I know there's a ton of hard work that goes on behind the scenes and for that I thank all of you. This is the best community in TGC and the group of guys and gals that are involved keep it exciting for everyone. Pleasure to share this society with you all!

I would like to extend a huge thanks to all those involved in making TGC Tours simply fantastic. To the admin team, rangers, designers, reviewers, players and donors; all this is possible because of what you do. I've been a member since the beginning, and while my schedule hasn't allowed me to play as much in the last few months, my hope is to come back to the game I love soon. Thank you SO much!

Any thoughts on not having promo marks on the PGA? I doubt anyone who has a top 10 isn’t really going to be flirting with being 120th the following week? How about if you fail the API you get 2 demotion strikes that can’t be removed? Fail it 3 times and you get demoted as they’re not trying to improve their swing or technique? All of this ^ ! No need for PGA promo marks at all, and it keeps things tough. You'd feel the pinch of a couple of demo marks straight off the bat. Regards API - 1 x fail - No Demo Mark 2 x fail - 2 Demo Marks, indelible until you have moved flights. 3 x fail - Relegation 1 flight (and a bloody tasty Chinese burn)
Past that, we'd need to think up new and exciting ways for the law to be enforced.

Past that, we'd need to think up new and exciting ways for the law to be enforced I've been watching Vikings... the Blood Eagle punishment they used... seems to be fitting for 4 x failers...

I know I usually act silly and all that nonsense most of the time , but truly appreciative of all the hard work the admins, volunteers etc have done here at TGC
met many a good people from all walks of life and all over the world due to this game and website.... Made some great friends along the way as well, which wouldn't have been possible without all the hard work done by those mentioned above
Thanks for everything....

Want to say thanks also to the Staff & Volunteers here at TGCT that keep this well greased machine churning! You all do an amazing job at keeping the HB franchise fun & engaging so hats off to all involved! Thank You!
Doyley on a side note was there any discussion about the possibility about splitting the Challenge Circuit into Master & Pro Tours. Primary question being, what % overall use Master & same with Pro or would it be too lopsided & not worth the time or trouble?
Other thoughts....
If it were done I'd imagine Promotion/Demotion marks would have to be reconfigured possibly?
Potentially anyone wanting to switch club sets upward (Pro to Master) mid stream would have to go through a 'special event' of sorts (1 or 2 round type) & meet a scoring criteria. Anyone wanting to drop to Pro can do so by request.
