spamjavelinPlayed here and really enjoyed the round. Played default settings, Pin 2. I thought some of the greens could've used some smoothing around the pin. Nothing major. Just an opinion. Some of the tee shots were borderline too close to narrow on some longer holes. I thought the rough could've been wider or done away with completely for being that little. I think the fairway should've been raised a bit on 16 as I felt the water too close. Lastly, the bunkers. I couldn't see quite a few of them without the scout cam. Also, raise/work the land around them a bit more. After all that... I really liked the look as a whole. Interesting green/fairway designs. I thought the retaining wall around the lake was wonderful. Looked really, really nice. I thought the green transitions from fairway were really well done. I liked the look of the sculpting and other work outside the playing area. 9 and 17 were my favorite holes. I really liked the green on 17. Almost aced it. Job well done even with the nit-picky things I mentioned. It's more personal preference for me. Really enjoyed the overall look/playability. Keep them coming! 😊😊

Nice course here man!
Some of your landing areas are a little tight but I didn’t think it was too bad. I got some advice on one of the courses I did recently that sometimes the best way to design a landing area is not to require a perfect shot but to reward the perfect shot and not the bad shots. So for example widen up the fairways a little bit and then if you hit the perfect shot you get a flat landing area with a better angle but if you don’t hit the great shot and you might still be in the fairway but with a bad lie and bad angle or something. Anyways hope that makes sense it’s basically just a way to say you don’t have to put hazards like bunkers and rough and stuff and Plato make it harder if you design around it a little bit

Makes sense Spartan and something I shall definitely incorporate if I decide I have another course in me for 2019.

Just played a round on this one - really enjoyed it. Scored -3 on pinset 2 with master clubs from the back tees, high winds, everything else on default. It looks great, love the mounds with the rocks on top, and what looks like some sort of ruins on the top of a hill looked great on one hole. Didn't find the little stream though - I can see it's behind a green, which one is it?

It's not actually a stream...it's the water between the outcrop of rock and the mainland on hole 6. Glad you enjoyed the round and thanks for the feedback!

The pictures look really nice, so I'll look forward to playing this one on my stream soon! I'm already excited about that retaining wall design!!!

Nice course! Enjoyed it.
I agree with others some of the pins were in spots that could be smoothed out a bit. Retaining wall was amazing... Well done!

Thanks, I'm learning all the time and at the very least...the laborious work on the retaining wall seems to meet with approval!
