I just recently played two more rounds here and decided to change up the conditions a little. I played one round with a west wind set to high and I also changed the time of day to dusk. The next round I changed it to east winds set to high and changed the time of day to dawn. Both rounds were set to overcast as well. The combination of the low light, cloud cover, and high winds moving the clouds across the sky really created a cool look. I suggest trying it out on this course and maybe a few others as well. Also, I snagged a few pictures/diagrams from Keith Cutten's book that I thought are really cool.

Hi everyone! Resurrecting an older thread here but I played Seminole last night and loved it. There's something about playing a hole and being able to look across the course. My only issue is when I tried to set the time of day to noon just to add a bit more light it kept playing the course in default light which I think is morning (or late afternoon). I have noticed this on one of two other courses I have played in the last 3 weeks. Why would this course not allow me to change the time of day of setting. I turned the crowds off and this setting changed OK. Thanks!

Lol, because when schedulers set the lighting at noon it generally looks like sh!t, so I always set my default low lighting at noon time to combat that. So yeah, default light is as high in the sky as the sun will get on this course.

It was weird because I double and triple checked I had selected the correct settings but the sun kept appearing low in the sky.
