Round 3 in the books; probably the best USE round I've ever played.
Defo easier conditions, had one bit of good luck that helped, and still missed opportunities, (when don't I say that?!) But was a very solid and consistent round, never pushed too hard, waited for opportunities, took most of them.
I'm really enjoying the greens; just a soft touch needed on every putt.

hammers1man no pressure, real life and all, but if we get those handicap boards I'll have something that I can look at that makes me feel better about myself. Currently not much about my USE game does.

Just played a practice round of pinset 4 in the high winds, devilish pins some of them, and hit a -4! I'd give anything for that in my tourny round!
Friendly/sporting word of advice, the pin on the par 3 15th is a dog! Don't get on the wrong place for it! I'd say just go middle of the green...(and do a very cautious lag putt...)

Currently not much about my USE game does. I'll get on it Art, sorry been really busy with work. I am changing the handicap leaderboard to just total scores and new handicaps as it is time consuming, but it is the total score that really matters anyway 😁 |

Howdy again all!
Been a little absent lately from Ultra Sim. Not because interest, just been busy with other things. I might have more of a "Tiger Woods" type schedule this year but I will surely play when I can.
Got round 1 in so far. I enjoyed the challenge with the hurricane winds and managed a -1 with 3 birds and 2 bogeys. Love this course!
Also, I calibrated a new controller. The old one was giving me horrible tempo and was just frustrating. This one is pending an API check by Doyley but so far, it's been a lot better with master clubs.

Those that play with mouse with master clubs deserve a medal. Definitely more difficult than using a controller.

after a very uneven 3rd round with too many mistakes and really short birdie putts missed. I wanted to save face a little bit in round 4 and I really started well 5 under at the turn, 6 under after 11 with some great birdie putts and nearly holing out for my first big A. Standing on 15, 5 under and hitting the centre of the green just 30 foot away. 5 more shots to get that damn ball in the hole, the less said about that pin placement the better. Round went to sh%$ after that 3 more shots dropped  . I'll focus on the positives below with the highlights  |

Wouldn't show by my round 4 performance in the tourney this week but I should have just quit after 3. Got frustrated with putting and played speed golf. Either way felt good to actually have descent tempo and compete for 3 rounds :-) |
