Love the 11th drive, very fast downswing big draw is needed. Hit it to perfection in round 3👍😁

Sorry we've not been as active in this thread recently; we've been busy over in our forum, and we're still perfecting our results process, which has meant some delays. We now have THREE ultra sim experience societies for you! * We have our regular USE tour, with a full 52 week tour, using only real courses from the PGA and European tours, plus a few highly regarded courses from top 100 type lists. * We now also have "use extra," which is a casual side tournament society, partly used for rangering courses, and also with some shorter form 2 round events and par 3 style contests * Finally we now also have "USE fictional" which is for standard USE play but, for the first time, using fictional courses! The aim is still for realistic courses, but we want to recognise that some designers out there are producing superb courses, which still provide very realistic play for our ultra realism aims Come and check out our forum here: ultra-sim-experience.proboards.com/

* Welcome to the ultra sim experience! *
* We are the "true" sim experience! *
We have a full year long tour, with ONLY real courses. We have 4 majors per season, a tour finals, plus "minor" and "big" events, all with different season points available, plus a cheeky little euro swing to ensure we get all the best courses from real life and the game into our season for players to enjoy. We are also going to be introducing some matchplay and team play type events within our season.
We are a friendly "honour" based society that requires users' honesty in applying some of our rules. (As they can't be inputted into the game.)
We now have our own dedicated forum! Here: ultra-sim-experience.proboards.com
But will be checking back here regularly for updates, managing join requests (you must request here first,) and answering any questions.
Below is our admin Anders' more detailed explanation, including what the rules are and why we have them.

Ultra Sim Experience is an ongoing online competition on The Golf Club 2019 with the goal of simulating the real game of golf as close as possible.
All platforms PC, PS4, XBox. To join the Ultra Sim Experience you need to post a message on this forum where you state your gamer-tag in TGC 2019 and what platform you play on. You must also request membership on the online society for your platform. For PC users it is "Ultra Sim Experience" that is the correct one.
Ultra Sim Experience has one tournament each week with 4 rounds from sunday to saturday. We play only real courses. To achieve the best simulation, all aids are turned off. That means: no scout cam, no green grid, no lie grid, no putting marker and no precise wind reading. All these settings are set by the admin that create the game in the society. But you must also do some changes: Turn off follow cam before you start. Never use the loft box for any reason (including fade and draw). If you want to play with ghost balls, you must have turnbased marked in the game. Master or Pro clubs.
The reason for not using follow cam and out-of-turn ghost balls are that they provide unrealistic aids in green-reading and lie. You will not get this view in real life, so we turn them off. If you had a fantastic shot and want to see the replay - that is perfectly fine on the next hole tee. But make your putt before the replay so you don't get that unrealistic reading aid and watch the replay as many times as you like. Some even record it and post videos of hole-in-ones.
So how do we have distance control without the loft box? In golf, we use partial shots to control distance. Adjusting stance and clubface is unrealistic. That means that you need to practice different backswing length (like 95%, 90%, 85%). This is true for all shots in golf from the full shots to the short game.
Unfortunatly the game has provided some unrealistic gameplay with swing-tempo adjusting distance. Any slow or fast downswing will increase distance and slow backswing tempo will decrease distance. You may not use an intentional slow backswing to control distance.
To achieve a fade or draw you must practice a fast and slow downswing. Reading greens require practice as in real life. The approach and putting cam is on and it is highly adviced to use this to read the greens on the short game with flop shots, chip shots and putting. One last rule is that it is not allowed to chip out of bunkers. The reason for this is that it is unrealistic and very hard to do in real life on sand. The game does not provide explosive bunker shots, so we use flop shots from greenside bunkers

So any thoughts on tee shot hole 11 of Hamilton G&CC? Aim right 😂😂😂 lol. Yea, I actually tried going left, between the trees, but couldn't get the distance right and went through the fairway twice.

Season 3 starts Sunday 13th September 2020 Our 3rd year and another 52 week season with our unique own society handicap leaderboard to accompany our scratch leaderboaerd, also handicap matchplay team tournaments were popular last season and will feature again this season. Full rules and friendly banter over at our forum ultra-sim-experience.proboards.com/ . Everyone is welcome who just wants to play sim golf, loves the sportsmanship part of the game and would like to it up with others that feel the same. Week 1: The Sony Open We travel to Mauna Kea GC - Hawaii to play @sirwade59 's lovely recreation of this Hawaiin gem of a golf course. One of the most popular golf courses in Hawaii, Mauna Kea offers superb views of the beautiful Kohala Coast. Since it opened in 1964, this course has set the standards in terms of beauty and design excellence, cementing its place as one of the most scenery-filled and favorite courses in Hawaii’s golfing history Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior from a topography of barren lava rock, and later updated by his son Rees Jones, this award-winning 18-hole, par-72 course has played host to some of the greatest names in the game The elevated greens and prevailing trade winds put a premium on approach shots if they are to land accurately on the greens. There are many memorable holes at Mauna Kea. The par-3 third hole is the signature hole and is located, like the eleventh, at sea level. On Dec. 8, 1964, the "Big Three" of golf -- Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player -- christened the Mauna Kea Golf Course, by playing here for a televised match. This date marked the official first day of play on this challenging course. Hole #3 272 yard Par 3 Hole #11 250 yard par 3
