Man, this course certainly seems to be keeping people honest! It was my pick, so all anger can be directed at me! are people at least enjoying the scenery When I was playtesting I'm pretty sure I had something like a one or two under, whilst concentrating more on how it plays than trying to go super low, but I'm sure I'll go well over par in my tourny rounds

Finding fairways was SO tough! And then you're fighting...

Really happy with my first round. Made a complete mess of the first (probably easiest?) Par 5 and took a double. Was +3 at one point. Battled hard up to the last par 5 and played it just perfect; didn't over compensate for the water, left myself a curling 18 footer and drained it for the eagle to get back to level. Then had a bogie and a birdie on 17 to get back to E, which is where I finished. Have to say I LOVE the course. Thanks to whoever selected it It's definitely hard on USE! Agree on blind tee shots, the greens are pushing it on fairness, and very fast, you really need a delicate touch but, honestly, for me, it feels like it never goes out of control and into ridiculous. And we've done the hardest round now!

Random, possibly stupid question. Does anyone else notice tempo inconsistency depending on when you play? I swear every time I play in the morning, I get a bunch of slow downswings...even though I know damn well it shouldn’t be. It’s also hard to get a fast when I intentionally try for it off the tee. Yet when I play later on in the day, I usually get perfects and can get fasts much more easily. I don’t get it! Is this common? I’m on PS4.

i have heard other people speculate about this, and i have experienced it (only a couple of times though.) Very hard to be sure if it's internet or server based, or just a very slight player error thing. Also heard people say it's more likely you just develop a temporary hitch in your swing. when it's happened to me, say 4 holes in a row, i've been able to adjust without getting into fast territory.
It's just one of those things. Deal with and adjust as best you can!

I swear in round 3 I had 3 holes (I think 2 were Par 5's) where the computer put a 2 wood in my hand instead of driver and I ended up leaving it on the corner in the rough, not clearing it as my driver would......grrrrrrr. Perhaps I'm rushing a little but it's usually the last thing you think of on long holes. Definitely be keeping an eye out in the future. Think I managed a -1 incl a 4 putt on the last par 5. Ho hum.

quite a few courses do this. it depends on where the waypoint for the hole has been set. defo one you need to keep an eye on. It's often when there's blind tee shots, severe doglegs, or you run out of fairway before driver distance (without necessarily elevation or wind taken into account.)

I know I’m not an expert at the game, but I can usually tell when I did something stupid with the swing. These were bullshit slows lol.

I was thinking server based. It just seems like all the swings are registering a bit slower than they’re supposed to. I really don’t feel like it’s anything I’m doing. Trying for the fast downs on the tee to me is the giveaway. Like being able to get it almost every time in the evening, but in the morning struggling with it...just doesn’t add up to me. It’s gotta be something with the connection. I do try to adjust and swing faster when it’s acting up, but it’s still annoying lol. I also notice in the morning i sometimes get infinite loads when I go into a society and have to close the game out. Not sure if that’s related at all though.

I don’t think that’s happened to me in this, but in other societies...definitely! I have full normal swung a few times instead of chipping or flopping though. The funny thing I will realize he’s full swinging when I see the backswing go up, but panic sets in and I continue with the shot....instead of just stopping. I think the worst I’ve ever done though is putt off the tee.

And we've done the hardest round now! Well played Leon you done me by 2 shots in the first round , loved the course and the grind to make par. Played well but my medium range putting was poor so missed 5 good birdie chances under 10 foot and my long range putts were burning the hole but just not dropping. 2 very slow downswing approaches were costly bogeys. Enjoyed every minute in the windy conditions that were actually tame compared to the 50 mph winds I played in a few weeks ago irl . Hats off to darvaan with a superb 68
