TGC Community,
Just got around to publishing my first course today (Seneca Valley Golf Club) and I’d love some feedback on the layout. I began it a while ago during the Memorial and I was loosely inspired to build a course similar to Jack Nicklaus’ theme at Muirfield.
It’s a 72 par, playing 7,756 from the back tees. Hope the course came out well rounded and enjoyable to play. Any constructive comments are entirely welcome.

Congrats on the first publish. A very solid effort for a first publish. A couple of issues you might want to consider for future courses. Sight lines, some holes, like the first, the sixth I think, the eleventh, and a couple more, has the player pretty much looking at the tee boxes in front, nothing to aim at, fairway bunkers on six not visible. For people playing true sim, who don’t use a scout cam, there is very little to aim at. The eight hole is a example of how you got this right, it’s a fantastic golf hole, great views, not just of the fairway but of the surrounding area. It’s important to have some sort of visual aid, the shot can still be a blind tee shot( but would not recommend to many blind shots on a course)but having some sort of target to shoot at, to give a player a sense of space is a must, another example is thirteen, two options of the tee but none are visible. There is also waypoint issue where the player is given a lob wedge of the tee on that hole. The greens for the most part are good, a couple of them on the back nine maybe a little flat. A couple of fairways come across as uneven, with steep run offs in places, but nothing to crazy. I apologize if it seems like I am slamming your course, I enjoyed my round, I can see a lot of potential in this course, so I wanted to throw out couple of things for you to look at for in future courses, thanks for sharing it with us.

Really appreciate the feedback! Sounds like some of issues, especially the waypoints might be worth editing for a republish.
I haven’t ventured into true sim in this game so these are aspects of design I never thought about. I’ll be sure to incorporate it better into my current project.
