You can advance edit benches. Quite an eyesore but turn them against each other and slope them down and you have a trail the ball will follow and never actually stop on. I've spent too much time trying to make them as reliable and predictable as possible, so prepare for a headache if you try one. I am using quite a few on my course, but I think this will be the last one I do, I have enough crazy holes I think hah

This seems to be the best method, using 3 benches. Because of the turn and slope the ball hugs the wall portion, so you have to place those carefully. If they're lined up perfectly the ball will still get hung up occasionally.

If I can get it right I will post a pic.

Hey guys, I'm halfway in and worried that no matter what I do, some of my holes will lag a bit Is there a rule for or against publishing a "no play" Beta within a certain timeframe of the deadline? If I have one hole that lags super bad, I'd rather just delete the entire hole and rebuild it on another part of the plot, than enter an unplayable course into the contest. Thoughts? Apologies it this has already been addressed.

Maybe it's more economical to build a wall shielding the lag cause? A lot of that going on in my course

Mini golf design hack of the day. Place your golfer on top of building or objects without any land sculpting. So I am toying with an idea that involves teeing off from the top of a lighthouse. Normally you would have to bring the land all the way to the top to get the golfer to tee off from there but that would ruin the structure in this case. The buried water body saves us again.place your tee in between two water bodies and the golfer will appear on top of the higher one. Because of the tee height you can then mask the water with steps and voila. Surely someone can make a cool mini golf hole out of this! I'm most likely not going to use this here, but here is Isabella, standing atop a lighthouse ready to take a swing

Eric- I designed one hole just to see what I can do...and I'm hooked to creating a full course. Can I be added to the contest?

Thanks for sharing all these tips Thomas, there’s definitely creative stuff that could come from those. I’m ridiculously excited for this contest!

A couple of questions since we're all friends here... 1) How do you make a good border without it looking like crap 2) How do you make it give you a putter on the tee
