Just finished my final round in a very nerve racking 15 to 17mph wind, ocasionally dropping to 10,12mph. Its gunna hurt my finishing position posting a 66 in those conditions. Been avg. 10 to 12 under in mild winds. I had the option to wait like the other ghost but ohh well. Do yall think 19 under will even make the cut???

I started with a -10 in R1 yesterday. Had a very poor start on the front nine, but played -8 on the back nine. That rescued my R1, and left me come back to clubhouse with a decent round. But then in R2, I played not good at all. Driving was good (18 fairways/greens in regulation), but my irons didn't get close enough to the pins, and my putter was cold as ice. Finally, I ended R2 with a dissapointing 65 (-7). Not a single birdie on the par 5's, I think that says it all. I'm sitting in the clubhouse now booking my flight back home, as I don't think that -17 will be low enough to make it into the weekend. This game is so funny... Played R3 yesterday just for fun. And what happens? A very easy going 59 that could have been a 56 or so too. Hard luck!

I have a rule for playing Rounds 3 and 4. If I think i'm certain to make the cut and feeling good i play them, if i think it's in doubt i leave my final 2 rounds til the final weekend. This week at -20 i played them but not so certain i should have now

I'm hoping -19 does make the cut, but I'm not holding my breath. Just looked at the in game PS4 leaderboard and there are 23 players at -20 or better. Not sure if all those are actually playing TGC Tours or not, but when I look at the main site leaderboard with only the 1st round scores posted and -9 is at 67th then I'm thinking -19 is not safe. Theres a load of players who havn't entered a score in yet and some of them have scored under -20, be interesting the leaderboard update for R2 at midnight.

Yeah, good eye. Didn't catch that at first. Initially I thought it was the 1" putt bug. Which it could have been, but then why present it in the way presented? Wow all that to try and gain one stroke. Cant remember now who it was talking about how disheartning it is to hear ppl upset with a 14 under versus a 15. And Im not talking about the guys that have been shooting low that have been playing since day 1, but those that have been playing a month or lil longer. I love the game and have been playing since its release, just thinking perhaps to many tips where put out. Shoot 19 under thru 2 rounds and may not make the cut. WOW. Great rounds guys, but for me and again just my opinion, I played my final round in high winds and had to really work and be creative and thou it was nerve racking I enjoyed it. Stuck some approach shots and made birdie and it felt highly rewarding. Then had some get nowhere close, and had to scramble. Golf is an up and down emotional rollercoaster and thats what makes it great. And not complaining at all love TGC but alot of the original members I made friends with early on are not even playing tourneys n e more, or are talking about stopping, afraid these new guys will to after months of play and hard practice once they see 18 to 20 under becoming the cut week in and week out. Would hate to see that happen.

Wow all that to try and gain one stroke. I'm not saying that. He could very well have suffered the 1" putt bug. But the video confuses things because it is presented as one continuous string of actions, like the 1" putt followed the round he just played where he scored -8, but the round he just played (as was pointed out) was not a tournament round. So I'm not sure what's going on any more.

59 in the first round won't even get you in the top 10!! As of right now, 59 doesn't even get you in the top 20. And about a third of the field still has to post a round. Does that not bother anyone else?

Does that not bother anyone else? I must admit that it is starting to bother me some and I've won a tournament at -57. I'd prefer to see courses where scores of -10 to -12 move you up the leaderboard not down by 30 places and have greens where red slopes are on them so good shots will be rewarded and average shots will leave a tough two putt instead of a 30-40 foot slightly breaking putt. I'm not taling about having crazy/mini golf greens where the pin is placed on the top of an ant hill, but have something where theres 20 feet of tier and then a slope. See what happens in the coming month I guess.

While yes I did score a 55, I also scored a 62 and a couple of 60's So you really had to be on your game each and every time and in this case one player was, the rest of the field will be 5-7 shots back and these are the top 10-20. If in the end I see one player several shots a head but 2- 20 clumped up.. it turned out to be pretty good.

Yeah, silly me. I wanted to see the cut line. Either way.. i'm hoping my -50 will get me a top 10 and MAYBE a top 5 if others flounder like i did. Yes i'm greedy today.
