Since the Web.com tour is off this week I went ahead and used my one exemption I earned in tour school. I'm thrilled to say that I went duplicate w 2 -11 61s on PS4. I have to admit that I lucked out and had VERY moderate winds for both rounds., 1st round ranging from 2-6 mph, and 2nd round was 4-8 mph. My shot of the tourney thus far was a wicked 11 in downhill putt for eagle on 9 in the 2nd round, and also had 2 chip-in birdies in the 1st round. I'd really like to think that -22 will be good enough to make the cut and get a permanent spot w the Euros. I'm not quite sure I'm good enough to hang with the top players on this particular tour, but will say that I like the courses that have been selected for this tour far better than the Web's upcoming courses. After grinding out the nightmare Links at Liberty Sound last week, this course was a breath of fresh air. Good luck everyone one the 2nd half of the tourney. I've got 7 weeks of money winning opportunity to make up for. I really wish I had discovered the tour back in September when I first bought the game. Moved on to round 3 this morning. Got lucky w very moderate winds again, 4-8 mph. Was horrified to see that i had a case of the 92%ers. After feeling cheated out of about 3 strokes, interrupted my round after 5 holes being even. Played a few games of MLB the show and then switched back to my luck controller I used yesterday, and resumed my round. I was very thrilled w the -9 63 I managed to post, including several putts that even got my fiance so excited that she scared my cat away by cheering for me. So here I sit -32 after 3 on my exemption round feeling very good about myself. I parred the 1st hole of my 4th round I stopped for dinner and decided to wait until tomorrow morning for my final round. I noticed the winds were significantly up, and feeling I'm decent at contending with it, hoping to shoot 65 or better to achieve my goal of -40 for the tourney.

Well this is my first tournament with you boys (and girls). Just played my first 2 round's and shot -10 & -11. Left alot of shots out there as i'm sure everyone has. Being a newbie, when I hear people asking about making the cut... do I continue on and play rounds 3 & 4 ..? Or do I need to wait to see if I have made it. Thanks in advance Thanks for the replys. Just played rounds 3 & 4, shooting -14 & -10, giving me a total of -45. Enjoyed playing in it, gives a new feel to the game when every shot counts. had a couple of bogeys in round 4 that annoyed me but hey ho. Looking forward to see where I finish and to move onto next week's event. See you guys out there

well decided to jump across the pond this week after my fourth place finish in my first week on the pga tour...Shot consecutive rounds of 57 in the first and second round. Second round could have been two to three strokes better had i not got bitten by the random kicker off a tee box which caused me to miss a green or two on par 3s. but no complaints but i got work to do to try and match the -63 out there

I must admit that it is starting to bother me some and I've won a tournament at -57. I'd prefer to see courses where scores of -10 to -12 move you up the leaderboard not down by 30 places and have greens where red slopes are on them so good shots will be rewarded and average shots will leave a tough two putt instead of a 30-40 foot slightly breaking putt. I'm not taling about having crazy/mini golf greens where the pin is placed on the top of an ant hill, but have something where theres 20 feet of tier and then a slope. See what happens in the coming month I guess. There is a whole discussion about this on one of the other forums labeled "HOW TO RAISE SCORES" I liked this course. While yes I did score a 55, I also scored a 62 and a couple of 60's So you really had to be on your game each and every time and in this case one player was, the rest of the field will be 5-7 shots back and these are the top 10-20. If in the end I see one player several shots a head but 2- 20 clumped up.. it turned out to be pretty good. As a new player to TGC (started in January with the 1st Q-school) I have seen my scores change drastically. Moved from a harmless Web.com player to earning an exemption and making the cut for the Euro tour to a top 5 finish when everyone was playing Pebble on the PGA, and now shockingly in the WGC field. Even though I now feel confident I can shoot 10-12 under most rounds, we all know that's not enough to ever win a tournament. Part of the allure of this site is that you're playing the actual tournaments and the cut line and just the competition. I wonder if after this season there isn't some sort "Elite" tour(s)/flight that's created above the PGA/Euro tour. Could be operated like the web/champions flights where it is its own separate tour despite having the same tournament as the regular PGA/Euro tour. Have a hard cap of players that earned their way there from their performance this year. If you won an event, you're in. Score lower than -50 in multiple tournaments, you're in. Top 15 money list from each main tour, you're in. I'm not saying those are what it should be just examples of possible parameters. Nothing really changes for the elite guys other than maybe they finish outside the top 10-20 for a change if they have an off round instead of just outside the top 5, they can still win just as many tournaments as they can now, but it gives the "good" players something to strive for other than just grinding out another made cut. The Elite tour would have to have their own boost to WGC rankings to reflect the competition level, similar to current WGC events. I also realize that every time you do this, there will be new players that arrive and are better than the current players levels and then they will be the new "elite" dominating the tour that they're on and I have no answer for that. I think the guys running this site are doing an amazing job at constantly trying to improve things without really changing the system too much and being fair to the past results and all players. I hope no one takes this as a dig at them or anything. Just thinking with my fingers instead of doing work. All that being said, I'm still having a blast playing this game and being on this site. Running in a few birdies in a row and getting a hot round going is so much fun. Seeing my name creep up the leaderboard is a blast too. Keep up all the good scores out their everyone.

One other thing to add. Playing this tournament with the different tees and pins is AWESOME. For those designers able to do stuff like this, the extra work is GREATLY APPRECIATED. At least by me. So much fun playing each round and encountering the different layouts and greens and figuring out how to attack the undulations and tiers. Great job on Red Diamond, only negative is that long load time on ps4. But I'll take it for how much fun the 4 pin system is.

what a disappointment I shoot -15 in round 1, 2 and 4. Got screwed in round 3 with the 92s and hit a double bogey on 9 i also hit an ace ni the third round but that 65 killed my chances to place high

Looks like -50 is going to end up just outside the top 10.. damnit!!! Tie for 12.
Well not bad for WGR of 127. Hopefully it will move me up some.
Time to head to Puerto Rico! Thanks Euro tour for having me this week.
