Hi Joe
What a good course. I hope people read this and go and play your course as it deserves way more plays than the 60 odd that it has had thus far. It plays fairly, no 45 degree bounces, green roll offs etc. Play a decent shot and you will be rewarded. I enjoyed my round and I have to rank this course inside my Top 10 for this contest. Well done.

I think one of the best things I can say about this course is that it's one of the few that I keep coming back to. It's so well done and the subtlety of the design is excellent - if you get out of position, it is so tough to score and I pretty much have a couple of doubles every time round, but the birdies feel satisfying as you have to earn them. Really enjoyed pin 4 this time around and I may have a new favourite template with the Leven you've produced.
More people should play this - it's criminal that it's only on 62 plays or so.
FYI, Matt Fritsch played it on stream last night - worth checking that out as he was a huge fan as well.

And I was thinking about you just some minute ago, cause I think you should be the perfect designer to recreate the Camargo Club. A version of Camargo exists in the game, I think the name is Cincinnati Club.

As for the Greenbrier, according the designer, this is a lookalike version or, to better say, a fictional course deeply inspired to the Camargo club. The funny thing in all this is that i was fully unaware of this fact. And now that i checked, i saw that the designer is Joe!! Anyway I'll check it soon. I'm sure I will be not disappointed as always. In terms of atmosphere his courses are always gems.

I was just checking some real course that we still missing in TGC2019 and reading about the architect involved in that course and looking some pics, I immediately thought about the fact that Joe probably would love the course, just to discover that he already did it, in some way Anyway, we are still missing so much great courses.. For example, there's someone who knows if the National Golf Links of America is on the radar of some designer?

So it’s just in TGC 2? Dang.

Unfortunately it only exists in TGC2. I'm sure it's the same designer who is working on Lido GC in this game.

The course itself is very loosely based on Camargo.

Mate, honestly. In these days I'm checking every real courses we have. And in my opinion, for the little I can understand, you are in that really little circle of designers who knows how to recreate the atmosphere of a course. Real or semifictional it can be, your Greenbrier is a jewel. Just to say, before I joined this forum and tournament, i was playing only "offline" my PGA tour on my society. And after I checked every real course I could find, also being too ignorant to know that it was not the RCR, I decided that your Greenbrier should be one of my final 4 courses (with Celtic Manor, the Belfry and Merion East, but I was not sure about the order ). This stupid thing just to say that I don't know why you don't create RCR, but you should. Cause you can. To create RCR is required an amount of love for the game that you have for sure.

I'm on PS4 so I don't have access to lidar and building an RCR the old way from scratch is a mentally draining experience. If I ever buy a PC I'll definitely do RCR's, but I have no desire to buy a PC.
