All-
I believe this has been discussed, but I cannot find it anywhere. I am trying to create a course, and if I use the Water Hazard, or Lateral Water Hazard feature, I either get brown land, or a very deep crevasse. How do I "fill" this with water?
Thanks!

You have to 'create' the water features in the TGC designer itself; what TGCTools gives you is just a placeholder to show you where the water features go.

If I identify anything on OSM as lake or pond, I get nothing coming over on the height map or from OSM. If I change the water to water hazard on OSM I only get mulch. I seem to remember earlier versions would give you a huge depression where water (regardless of lable) was identified and all you had to do was add the water feature in on the design tool. Do you have any suggestions??

Hmm. Maybe you had 'fill terrain under water / blue mask' selected on TGCTools?
Also, for smaller water hazards such as little streams, it won't drop the terrain for you. Even when it does, it misses a little bit right around the edge, which is probably built in as 'safety' not to interfere with any other hole features the water may be near.

Double checked...don’t have the fill terrain marked. These are ponds and lakes. It is Wynstone GC. It is North of Chicago, just a little NW of Highland park by Lake Zurich. If you have time you can see what I have mapped.

Hmm, I don't know why it's not working for you then. chadgolf any ideas? I have confidence I’ll get it to work. With help 😁 It is nice to finally have a gaming system to run the game. My old laptop couldn’t handle it. So I’m back up and running and will be getting more into the Lidar. So if I get too crazy with the questions, I’ll apologize now. Just want to learn all the tricks and best practices.

Nah, it's fine. I was the same way with it at first, which was only 2 months ago.
