Built during the Second World War by British PoWs for their Japanese captors, the Kochchikade Railway is now used solely for transporting golfers to a very exclusive club. From the moment you step off the old steam train at the courses very own station, your clubs and yourself will be whisked away by golf buggy down to the clubhouse, where you can leisurely loosen up on the range prior to hitting the 1st tee (or of course head straight to the 19th hole). The choice is yours, you will be sure of a pleasant welcome. The opening hole will take you down to the Kochchikade River, before crossing it several times as you make your way around the course itself. Elevation changes are frequent but not to excessive, there is a good mixture of holes, all of which play fast and firm. Choose which holes you can attack and you'll score well here. Three tee placements are available, with yardages ranging from approx 6500 to 7200, par comes in at 72. Please call by and have a play, as usual all comments are gratefully received. ![Hole 3](https://screenshotscontent-t4002.xboxlive.com/xuid-2533274794513218-public/be4bd648-6d73-4d85-98d0-b7209f985f2c_Thumbnail.PNG) ![Hole 4](https://screenshotscontent-t5001.xboxlive.com/xuid-2533274794513218-public/00f5f7ab-e7cc-44ce-a3ae-b601c33c49e1_Thumbnail.PNG) ![Risk/Reward Par 4](https://screenshotscontent-t3002.xboxlive.com/xuid-2533274794513218-public/d353bf39-f1c6-4607-a55b-c7d5e2d6c2bd_Thumbnail.PNG) ![Kochchikade Station](https://screenshotscontent-t5002.xboxlive.com/xuid-2533274794513218-public/053dc6d3-5387-4841-a6c3-22f7f4090033_Thumbnail.PNG) ![Don't miss it left](https://screenshotscontent-t5002.xboxlive.com/xuid-2533274794513218-public/3a14b677-9967-4e5d-820c-c63eefb0f0e8_Thumbnail.PNG) ![Heading for home and the 19th](https://screenshotscontent-t4002.xboxlive.com/xuid-2533274794513218-public/c5b9e616-3b65-4cf3-941e-171517f50fc1_Thumbnail.PNG)

Copper Lake Falls and St Bedes are already on my favorites list. I assume this one will follow once I get a chance to play it.

Cracking course, well done. Lots of stand out holes particularly the front nine, second shot into 9 and then the 9th green with the flag at the back - fantastic.

This course has proved to me that I really need to create a list of courses I want to play. I meant to play it a couple of weeks ago when it first came out, but didn't get around to it and eventually forgot. I'm glad I saw it mentioned in another thread and finally got around to giving it a shot. This course was awesome. Immersive, beautiful, and really fun. I definitely plan to play more rounds here.
