Brian Jeffords feels like going from fourth to third is not "racing into the picture". Although the 57 he shot in round three did kick Victor right in his pasty butt. :-P

While the competition is heating up on the course, the Saturday night RV party (which still needs a creative name) was of course still on. Victor hadn't shown up the usual time, and Darryl was wondering if he would take the night off after 3 excellent rounds and close to the lead. But sure enough, the text came through and Victor came shortly after. Darryl had brought back some Blue Moon from the liquor store which he thought was appropriate seeing as this weeks event was the Blue Moon Invitational. With 1 round to play this was still anyone's tournament to win. While friends back at the RV, things are a bit different on the course. More tense, less chat, less "nice shot" comments. meanwhile, Tournament coordinators promised for a challenging setup for round four, which was a bit unsettling for the players as the went to sleep at 3:30 am. They were all chasing Daniel, but many still had the thought that this could be their week. In one of the more competitive BCT tournaments so far, this one could setup for a great finish.

Not going to be doing a write up way to sick to do so as my 4th round score will indicate, knew I should have played it while I was hot after my 3rd round. Anyway good luck.

I think it’s been about 8 months since I played this game. Decided to pick it up and play a few rounds. My daughter played awhile ago and I put it on beginner for her, so when I loaded up I had the beginner clubs selected and enjoyed it. I stopped playing because it had all stopped being fun with this tempo swing. But I found a renewed interest not worrying about fast-slow-very fast all the time. So here I am.
I can’t remember how to pitch, chip, or putt. I’m not going to compete all that well. But hoping I can have some fun with this game finally with you all.

I'm still considering dropping down here just to get back to playing Tour events, but these weekly spoiler threads are entirely too much reading. The occasional pictures are nice but plot and characters and conflict and alcohol without some sex and gratuitous nudity to keep a guy interested is just too much.

The time had come for Victor Lane to exorcise those demons and have a solid fourth round, something he has struggled to do in the month since joining the BCT, but he was feeling oddly confident this week, even with a two-shot deficit to Daniel Waring as they headed to the first tee. Waring had teed off earlier and there was a buzz around the course that things weren't going well, so Victor was thinking a solid round might do it. Lane was off to a smashing start, going -6 on the opening nine, and then following that with a birdie on 10, an eagle on 12, and another birdie on 13 to be -10 through thirteen holes. By all accounts, a couple of birdies coming home would do it. He heard that Waring was now in full rage mode on the back nine, and he had opened the day with a three-stroke lead on Darryl A. Montgomery, so he just needed to finish it out. Victor hit a magnificent shot on the par-3 fourteenth, but it released up the hill a bit and he had a tender 10 foot birdie putt with over five inches of downhill in it. Not the putt he wanted, but he knew par would still be okay. He tapped the putt, and I mean TAPPED it, and to his surprise it never took any of the break and raced past the hole by far more distance than he had ever imagined. His par putt coming back up the hill was more than twice as long as the birdie putt, but thankfully it didn't have much break in it, and he's been known to make 20-foot-plus par putts look routine, so he thundercocked it right at the hole and... MISS! The crowd moaned audibly. After all, a bogey on the BCT coming down the stretch is never a good thing, but he remembered that three stroke lead he had on Darryl entering the day, reached down deep, and hit a gorgeous approach to seven feet on the fifteenth. News had just come in that Daniel Waring had thrown his golf bag into the water on 17, so now all eyes were on Victor and Darryl. The latter putted first and made a great birdie, but Victor had just a hard breaking seven-footer between him and a birdie as well. He chose a line, committed to the stroke, and... MISS! Not only did it miss, the ball once again steam-rolled down the hill far away from the hole. At this point Victor was visibly shaken, causing him to once again miss the par coming back, and now there was a significant problem brewing. He had just given away those three shots he had over Darryl to start the round. On the 16th tee, Victor could be seen grumbling with his caddy, Captain Morgan, as if the two were either arguing about the chosen line and speed on those last two greens, or complaining about the pin positions. Lane needed someone to blame! After matching birdies on the sixteenth hole, he glanced at the leaderboard as he stood on the tee for the difficult seventeenth, and noticed that he still had a one-shot lead in the event over Darryl A. Montgomery. All he needed was to birdie out and he'd be okay! Unfortunately, the nerves (and possibly the contents of the "water" bottle) were too much, and Montgomery had been in this position before, so he was cooler than the other side of the pillow. Victor Lane mustered only a par on the seventeenth to Darryl's birdie, so now the two competitors were tied, and because of the count-back rules in the event of a tie, Lane knew that matching birdies on the final hole would be of no help. He missed a simple 13-foot birdie on the final green as Darryl rolled his in to lose the event by a stroke. Lane was clearly defeated, barely staying long enough to shake hands with Montgomery and Mayo before retreating to the clubhouse to sign his card and get out of town. Although the two players are really good friends off the course, Victor couldn't stick around to watch Darryl lift a third trophy in four weeks. He headed out to the parking lot, rummaged through the RV for his belongings (Darryl leaves it unlocked in the hopes that somebody will steal it), and called an Uber to come pick him up. Nobody knew where he went, they just knew he was gone from the premises. Should they be concerned, or just let him cool down for a few days? Hopefully they can catch up with him via text or call before the next event, but between Waring's ceremonial club-toss in a fit of rage and Victor's disappearance, the drama at the top of the BCT leaderboard was sure getting interesting.

Said boffo as he slowly dropped his towel to the floor. He glistened with the moisture of the damp locker room air. He had a few more holes to play it seemed.

Thanks guys...Darryl is ecstatic about his most recent trophy to put, well..he doesn't really know where to put it. Right now it's currently in front seat of the RV with the seat belt securely attached. He's looking forward to teeing it up next week but he can't help but wonder what the heck happened to his pal Victor. All of the friend circles have been advised to keep watch for him. He even called Terry Grayson to warn local authorities of his disappearance. Hopefully he turns up soon...
