I am sure someone else has already done this but I felt very clever...... well in my own mind anyway. I put together the ball washer and direction sign so it looked a little more better. The post for the ball washer is just a little small then the sign post, so it hides it very nicely.

It's good to see designers finding new ways to combine objects to create something different. Here's the idea I had on Wolf's Fang Golf Club, I put a retaining wall at the tees then placed a signpost in the retaining wall. Then I just placed course equipment and a bench on them.

I would like to see more stuff like this. Just pictures of the little things that designers do to add to their courses that are not really about holes.... just added ambiance and atmosphere.

Here's another one I done on Desert Wolf, I put bushes up on dead trees to make them look like Joshua trees. But as you said it's good to notice the small details that catch your eye. It can be simple things like bins used as planters or even big things like the Hollywood sign in The California Tour Club.

How did the designer make the Hollywood sign? I'm sure it was with a lot of the ad boards, it looks great, I don't know how long they spent on doing it.

How did the designer make the Hollywood sign? Lots and lots of concession tents.

I may steal all of your ideas. Anyone else made mats to hit off of?
