![](//storage.proboards.com/6002026/thumbnailer/OdxHafKq0NPoNtduumAX.png) August 31, 2017 The first leg of the Designer Challenge Series kicked off with Griff handing out names of courses. I picked Wayfarer Foothills. After only about two weeks, I immediately realized that I was going to be too busy to finish the course before the deadline. I removed myself from the contest. I felt so bad that I haven't entered a contest since. I had already built the first hole, so I kept it on the back-burner. Griff didn't fill my place/give the name of the course away, so I was able to keep the course logo and name, too! March 27, 2019About a year and a half later, I finally got around to finishing it. I started back around the start of the year, and 3 months and a massive routing change later: Finally done. ----------------------------------------------------------- About The CourseWayfarer: a person who travels on foot. synonyms - traveler, journeyer Par: 70 Green Tees: 7,114 Black Tees: 7,459 Terrain Firmness: Very Firm Green Firmness: Very Firm Green Speeds: 171 Prevailing wind: A strong breeze out of the South to Southwest

For those who read the note when I first posted it, after further evaluation, if you really want to challenge yourself, you can set the greens on 187. I've removed the note

Put out a Wayfarer Foothills (Tour) version with some changes to a couple holes because I wasn't happy with how they were playing. Green speeds are set at 187 for default, too.

Played this on euro tour this week great course. Was a fitting course this week with the us open going on. Played a lot like a us open course if you short side yourself just off the green your looking at an icy chip shot. Don’t hit the right spot on the green and you leave yourself a tough two put. Some really great strategy off the tee setting yourself for your approach shot into tight spots on greens. I love that if your hitting good you can get birdies but if your off just a touch it’s a grind to get par. Really great course loved the challenge.
