Hi,
New here. Spent the last 3 days getting up to speed on the TGC Tool. Have completed the LIDAR input & some OSM editing. In exporting the first hole, spent time working on the the registration between the 2 data fields (LIDAR & OSM).
Here's the problem I ran into. When making an adjustment in the tool to "West -> East" with a positive number, the exported course in 2019, based on the Designer Edit Compass would move South. When making an adjustment in the tool to "South -> North" with a positive number, the exported course in 2019, based on the Designer Edit Compass would move East.
For the two problems above I have not made any "Rotate" changes in the TGC Tool. This is just using the direct output of the "Import Terrain and Features", then the X/Y plugged in, clicked "Shift Terrain", exported file and opened in 2019.
So wanted to see if I'm missing something here? Should the OSM lineup (North) with the 2019 Compass (North) from the start when imported?
Or does this mean you have to find the correct rotation # manually and align the two. That way the X/Y of both TGC Tool & 2019 are in sync?
Thank You, C.A.

I don't really know what they intended, but if you want that "visual compass" in the game to match up, you need to set:
Settings -> Environment -> Lighting -> Orientation to 0.0 degrees.
Then it will match lidar north, unity engine north, and all other norths.
