If you want to be competitive and you have a PS4 and the cost of the game is not a problem - then choice is clear - PS4 is much easier than both PC & Xbox for tempo on masters clubs. Why it's different - well, the hardware for the systems is different, the game code will be compiled differently, so that's why they end up behaving differently. Even cross platform games like Rocket League are known to handle slightly differently between the various systems. The reason it's such a large difference for TGC - the masters swing sensitivity is dialled upto eleven - so even small differences get magnified. I wouldn't hold your breath for this being "fixed" in the next release... I don't think HB even consider it a bug. thanks for this.
Yeah if I didn't have a PS4, I would just stick with it but I really want to progress up the tours as think I could be good enough.
Ultimately wouldn't know until I've played and practised, but when it's not looking like a new TGC is coming out and no fix to address, then this might be my only option. I would like to promote for the Xbox and show it can be done, just it feels much harder to do consistently, whereas Pro clubs is far too easy and no skill in my eyes.
The thing you have to think about if you got promoted to Web and beyond on PS4 is have you actually got better at the game or is it just the fact your playing on an easier system. All power to you if that’s the way you want to go but it’s not something I would like to do or I would have bought myself a power A controller for my Xbox.

This is why I like the Xbox, but only for that reason - as it can feel very rewarding. But ultimately why do we get the harder ride, need to ensure promotion system to pro tours works for both.

Exactly, from the standpoint of an Xbox player I would rather I didn’t get a demotion mark for trying to play with the master clubs unless I finished at the bottom of the field. Doesn’t matter what the admins do they can’t level the playing field unless they make everyone use pro or beginner clubs which have been shown to be pretty close data wise.

Yeah agree, if my eyes there's two solutions:
1. As above, Xbox players get demotion marks lower down 2. Promotion marks given to top PS4/PC/Xbox so evenly split.
Problem is some will feel hard done by, and I know you can't please all but need a fair system.
I don't feel going to Pro is a solution, but it certainly is one. Masters is the clubset just the Xbox version is more flawed.

Yeah you can’t please everyone but I can’t help feeling that if the situation was reversed and it was the larger numbers of PS4 players with the disadvantage something more might have been done and they would be shouting as loud as we are. I remember the shouts from the second game when a lot of them were getting less than 100% swings and they couldn’t work out what.

Wasnt a big player on TGC2 so can't comment.

HB won't take any notice of anybody, no matter how hard they shout... specifically if they're shouting about something that reflects poorly on the quality of the delivery of product from HB... Sad as it is...
