I sorry if this seems a weird question but I was reading that you can't use beginners clubs for any cc-a through cc-l. Can some one explain what a beginners club is to me please. Don't want to get DQ'd. Thanks in advance.

Really frustrated with this game right now. Had a good night with live matches with the boys but once again sh%$ the bed in all other societies. I am really starting to hate this game and wasting my time trying to get better at it. There is no consistency to be found.

Really struggling with the game now - not happy with the putting since they changed it, and tempo in general is all over the place. I couldn't be more bottom of CC-A definitely down to B next week, and should probably be in F at least right now.

Clinging onto the hope of yet another patch and more swing changes, otherwise I can see myself stopping with TGC Tours for the first time since the first game came out. I might stick with CUCC as we're all playing the same crap game.

Just ignore it Scoop, the game will automatically put you on master settings when playing your tgctours rounds, same as it does for this society

That’s what I keep saying chief, there is no consistency at all. It’s another rushed out game knowing people will buy it 😕 how tempo can change so much from one round to another is an absolute joke

I think that's a reference to the previous game, there's no such thing as beginner's clubs any more. You can play with any clubs you want.

Just played the 2nd hole of cc course this week. Par 5 got par but drive was very fast, 2nd shot perfect, 3rd a slow, 4th a fast. Tempo f@ck off!!!!

I quite enjoy that this game is hard to find consistency on, feels like real golf to me! I think I enjoy it more than some because I just play my game and don't overly worry about how everybody else plays theirs. I know I keep banging on about it but that's the key! Forget the fast swingers and the PS4 guys maybe getting it a bit easier, just play the game and see where it gets you! I can't imagine not playing the tours, and at the end of the day not all PS4 players and fast swingers are finding it easy. I know this because they are below me on the ladder! I also don't think it's random, I know instantly when I've got it exactly right. It's just so hard to do that consistently, which is fine by me I guess.

The other thing with being bumped down a few levels (again!) is I haven't given up hope of adding to my tour wins this season. Just need to find that little purple patch and a little bit of luck.... Not even sure I'll bother with the promo events this season, I'd rather try to work my way up the old fashioned way. First got to clear those ugly demo marks I picked up last week...

Point is, and I've said it all along, if you're not enjoying the game then there's no point in playing and wasting your free time. But you need to look at WHY you're not enjoying it, and if that's because of what other people are doing then I'd strongly recommend you have a rethink.

There are a few long term members quitting the tours and I’m thinking of dropping down to beer league.

You can ghost them even if they are in "A" I believe.  Same course, same settings.  Correct?  

Unless you were joking and I missed the humor.  Which wouldn't be the first time  LOL!

Ha! Thanks Koop but I did know that. I like (when I have the time) to play against ghosts from my own tier. Not much point in playing against someone not on the same leaderboard. I've got a few in C Cubed but I've been playing against the mighty Congo since the TGC1 days. He's the perfect ghost rival because he's a good player and he plays all his rounds on a Sunday!

Chief, I played my Tours round and shot Even. Then I played Oakmont in another society and shot -5. This is the way the game is and I have accepted it. However, I never use the range for practice and I generally just tee it up on Hole 1 and let it rip. So if i stink it up in 1 round there's always the next to look forward to.
