So as you guys know, I just don't put much time into this game. My golfer is on level 19. I make about 3 courses a year. It's not for lack of wanting to, it's just lack of available time. So up to this point I might have double digit hours invested in my course. Don't worry, I still have every intention of finishing and am confident that I'll have something to be proud of. I'm just trying to paint a picture of how precious each second I spend on my courses is. I went home for lunch for about 50 minutes of uninterrupted, pure course chiseling time. Pure bliss. After I created what might be the best hole I have ever created, I got the dreaded crash screen. I'm ok. I haven't broken anything yet, and no dogs were harmed on my way out the door. But I felt the need to vent here. So, instead of a screen shot of progress I intended to post today, here is this.  |

This is one of the most intriguing designs in the contest I would imagine and one I’m most anxious to see. I’m all for out of the box thinking and I wish we’d see more of it in this game. Can’t wait for your final product!

So yeah, this is published.
I realized in the past 3 weeks or so that I made a mistake getting into back to back contests so quickly. I should have known better considering my kiddos are involved in about 4 spring sports. To add onto that, I lost my job last week, so any spare time I’ve had has been reserved for blasting out resumes and setting up interviews.
I’m getting into the weeds a little here. I don’t want this to come across as a poor pitiful me post. Really it’s more an apology to those running and competing in the contest for not producing a course worthy of even my own standards, let alone what is expected of a contest worthy course.
I can’t wait to get into the game again so I can start playing through the other courses, which look brilliant, by the way.
