The refs literally chose who made the super bowl with these two calls:
(to be fair, the Chiefs one was with plenty of time left, but it was a momentum play)
Anyways, lemme hear your picks. Iโve got LAR 38 NE 27

The Saints were absolutely robbed of an opportunity to win. But they still kicked the FG to get the lead. They just couldn't get one more stop on defense.
The roughing call on Chris Jones wasn't as impactful. There was still 7 minutes left in the game. Too much time left for that to be blamed. Championship teams should overcome a little adversity such as that considering the amount of time left.
Anyways....
The Patriots are early favorites at -1.5 with an ov/un 59.
I love the over more than taking a side. I'll be taking the Rams on the money line to win outright as well.

NFL officiating is so inconsistent. Has been for a while now. It's to bad because the game at it's core is awesome which is highlighted by these amazing athletes. Just incredible stuff by these players.
I hate KC being a Raiders fan but I hate NE more. Was very disappointed in NE winning. I did not want to see another NE SB. Though KC would have much more fun to watch.
Anyway I would take NE all day. This is probably it for Brady and Belichick. So they will give it everything they got.

Sounds much like refereeing in every sport ever tbh - they are people - so will a) see the game differently to another referee and b) make mistakes occasionally.

Being an official on a field with 22 guys violently engaging each other isn't easy. I couldn't do it and if I did, I'm sure I'd miss a few calls and make a few bad calls. Just wanted to keep that in mind although i get upset with them a lot lol.
It does not excuse the missed call in wide open, plain view in the Saints game. But I cannot say that call solely determined the outcome. The Saints still came away from that drive with the lead and 1:45 left in the game. There was opportunity there to close it out with a defensive stop. But the Rams got the FG to tie.
Saints won the OT coin toss and had the ball. But Brees threw a pick. Another opportunity not cashed.

Hard to feel bad for KC. Third down defense was embarrassing.

Saints fans are trying to sue the NFL for a rematch. Big waste of resources with that. There's no way in hell they win that lawsuit. Just imagine the precedent that would set and the backlog of court cases from all sports because of a bad or missed call. Imagine the backlog baseball alone would create because an umpire called a ball instead of a strike in a playoff game.
Saints fans just need to take it on the jaw and move on. Yes it was a bad beat but it's time to stop crying about it.
On another note... referee says to Tom Brady, "I got your back". Next play, offside defense. Lol.

Yeah, I mean, obviously it was a horrible call, but you just donโt win lawsuits like that, especially not in time for the Super Bowl. Spend time on improving the team for next year, rather than on something that will never happen.

Just imagine if people accepted losing is a part of life. Imagine if they realized life isn't fair.... and neither is sports.

KC defense lost their game against the Pats. No way a SB team allows 3 consecutive 3rd and long plays to be made. KC will have their day as long as their QB stays healthy and they give him a defense.
What I look forward to the most for this SB is not Maroon 5 at 1/2 time but Tony Romo and his color commentary.
Exactly how accurate was Romo on Sunday, Romo issued a total of 15 pre-snap predictions and his success rate was pretty staggering: 12 correct calls, 2 incorrect predictions and 1 that was kinda/sorta right.

I despise Maroon 5. Levine has one of the most annoying singing voices I've ever heard. Thank the tech gods for creating Mute buttons on remotes.

Yes, but to be fair this one was a REALLY bad call, possibly one of the worst I've ever seen at such a critical time. And I was cheering for the Rams! At least with the Evil Empire making the big show yet again it gives me a reason to emotionally invest in the outcome.
GO RAMS!!
Got to love their coach, that fake punt in their own half when they were 13-0 down might just be one of the ballsiest calls I've ever seen! If that was Adam Gase he would have faked it by running a draw play....
