Played a practice round and shot a -4. Greens are going to be a little tricky, you don't want to come up short on hole #1 and #13.

Played my first round early Saturday morning as always. Dreaded double digit winds. Started slow but gained a little momentum as the round progressed. Shot 62 and was dead last among the early ps4 players. Another week where the cut line will be unbelievable. As usual, I really struggled getting the ball close to the pin in high cross winds. Not to beat a dead horse, but I was getting out driven by 20-40 yards by ghost balls. With the right winds, eagles and birdies await.
Good luck to all.

What time did you play? I played at 12:30 AM EST and winds were low.

been practicing like crazy all week on different courses as well as this one knowing I had an exemption so hoping I make the cut. After two rounds I'm -16. For those playing on this tour each week is that gonna be enough?

Having played this course myself this morning, i would say -16 will make the cut, especially since the cut line is the top 120 players + ties Your safe.

Anyone have an idea of what the cut line might be? This is my first ever TGC Tours event, and I'm hoping to make the cut. My practice rounds weren't making me too optimistic though...

Just played a practice round (my second time ever playing the course) in 8-12mph winds, mostly cross winds, into wind on Par 5's and with wind on Par 3's. Shot a 60 (-12)
With the right winds and a hot putter I think 57-52 (-15 to -20) is definitely a possibility. Going to take a bit of an adjustment for the slick greens both putting and with approach shots but it should be another a low scoring top 25 with the winner being in the -55 to -65 range and another low cut line. (My cut line guess is -17)

Really liked this course, although I missed a bunch of putts and lipped out a few eagles as well. Played all 4 rounds in 8 - 13 mph winds, which seemed ok for this course. At least I was consistent though, shooting 60 - 60 - 60 - 59. Might be enough for top 30 or so, depends on the wind though I guess.

First of all, thank you to the organizers of TGC Tours to give me a fun place to play, as well as motivation to improve my skills. The community here is an awesome bunch as well.
AS for this week, it's my first crack at the Web.com tour after earning a Sponsor's exemption on the Champions Tour. I've been able to put up a couple 62's in practice rounds, but wasn't able to convert nearly as many birdies in my first real round, shooting a -6 66. It wasn't so much a case of missing putts (though there was a miss of a fairly straight 7-footer on one of the short par-4s), but rather just not putting myself in good position for birdies.
I also missed the fairway on two par-5s, which pretty much eliminated any eagle opportunity and severely hampered my chances of birdie.
I know I can go into the low-60s to have a shot at making the cut, but we'll just have to see how things shake out when I load up round 2 in a few minutes...

Just had an absolutely horrific debut on my first TGC Tours event at Coyote Canyon. Shot -10 in the first round, leaving half a dozen birdies on the course due to some terrible putting. Everything completely fell apart during my second round shooting a dismal -4. About to play round 3 and 4, even though I'm almost certain I won't make the cut with scores like that...

Well...played my 3rd round and shot another very mediocre round (-10). Was really hoping I would make the cut on my first event, especially considering the course. I would normally expect to shoot somewhere between -10 and -15 on Coyote Canyon, so my goal was at least -50 for the tournament. Didn't have my game today. Oh well, there's always next week!
Good luck everyone

Welp, I think I'll make my first cut.. and then some.
RD1: -11 RD2: -11 RD3: -11 RD4: -9
All 4 rounds combined I shot -13 on the front nine and -29 on the back, with about 4-5 eagles total. I almost had my first double eagle on hole 8ish? Dog leg left par 5. Hit my 2nd shot with a 5 wood from about 240 out on a dead B-Line at the hole, bounced a good 20 yards in front of the green and rolled right into the pin, but a bit too fast as it bounced back out. Nice tap in Eagle, though.
