Hi! I am new to all this! I have TGC 2 installed on my pc and enjoy it. Wud love to participate in a tournament but don't know how. I don't know if I want to shell out money for TGC 2019 cuz I already did with TGC 2. Is there any way I can join a tournament. I know I am registered but when I look for the course it doesn't show up. I need some help...Just wish people wud make things simple instead of being so complicated. Make it so simple a monkey cud do it. Cuz I am a monkey I guess and need help. Ready to give up.

Believe me, I've been with TGC from the beginning, so dump TGC2, as this game is the worst of the three versions, and all the Tours are shut down now anyway. TGC2019 is what the previous version should have been, so purchase the new game and join all the fun, you won't regret it.

Hi all! I got TGC 2019 and really really enjoy it even more than TGC 2. Is similar in some ways yet different. Having played TGC 2 has definitely helped as a learning tool for TGC 2019. Shud be able to get my Tour card no problem. I find putting easier on TGC 2019. I think I am going to enjoy this! Thanks.

Yeah I know what you mean, but the PS4 isn't always fun, we still have our bad days.

Am playing TGC 2019 on my PC with a logi-tech gamepad controller. It works well. Wondering if they have a thread based on other guys techniques for hitting the ball and measuring the wind? Gotta be a trick to getting -40 under in a tourney. Wud love to see other guys insite into this game and how they got better. Thanks.

You may want to switch controller to a stock xbox one or stock dual shock 4 controller. The logitech one your using now will likely get flagged by the fair play system. www.tgctours.com/Home/RulesPolicies#fair-play"we have yet to see a controller manufactured by Power A, Hori, or Logitech pass our Fair Play metrics. If your controller is manufactured by either of these manufacturers, it is highly unlikely that your scores will be accepted." Just a heads up to save you wasting time playing and getting scores removed etc.

Try a licensed/TGC Tours endorsed controller

Anyone here able to give me some pointers in keeping their gamepad perfectly still when they are hitting a shot??? Until I stabelized my controller so that it doesn't move at all when I am swinging I was all over the fairways...Not very much fun playing if you can't atleast hit the shot straight. Even since I stabelized the controller I still have problems once in a while. So far I am around a +7 handicap. Better than when I started which was around a +50. If you can't stop your controller from moving when shooting there isn't much sense in even playing this game. I have been playing WinningPutt for the last 3 years and found it to be way easier than this TGC 2019. Like I said I stabelized the controller from moving when I snap the knobs(don't know what else to call them). If I wasn't able to do that not much sense in playing. These guys that get -40, -50, or -60 under in 4 rounds definitely have some help or a system to make sure there controller doesn't move at all when playing. Wud love to have some hidden secrets if anyone wants to give them out. I know what some of you will say practise practise practise. I say BullShit. Those guys with top scores know how to keep there controller from moving. Any input here that wud help is appreciated. If you have a stupid answer just move along. I don't have time for people like that.

also, I don't have a PlayStation or an X-box. Don't have money at this point in time for these things. Prefer to use my PC to play. But using the mouse is a waste of time. Anyways. thanks.

You don't need XB or PS4, just the Controller to use on the PC. You're new to this site, please don't start off accusing people of things. Many , if not all of the top players are just that good. Most people stabilize the controller WITH THEIR HAND!

I don't have time for people like that. You need to calm down mate. Your post sounds extremely aggressive and trust me around here you will be out on your ass if that keeps up. It is PRACTISE that gets them that good. Playing 100s of holes a week helps you improve. When I first started I was maybe -10 for 4 rounds, the last 8 rounds I’m -77 and it comes from playing more.

Practicing to "git gud"?!!? You don't say. Video game or not, it still requires practice. Instead of focusing on "keeping the controller straight" you should find out how YOUR swing is naturally. Everyone has a natural tendency one way or another. Also, I'll give you some GREAT advice... Ditch the Logitech! In all seriousness you need to practice putting. Also, read the tips in the Driving Range here about wind/elevation. Edit: #spellcheck

I sit with the controller on my lap and use my left thumb on the left stick that’s the only anchoring I use.
