i do see 1 person with a negative mark on the leaderboard... but if that is the case, i am fine with that.... i wasn't going to get promoted with the way i've been shooting anyways. I saw that as well, not sure how that happened, I believe this event has the no negative restriction. Promo event #2 will be open for all.. Looks like there is an entry requirement for the 1st event.. No problem Promotion Event #1 - Week 4 (Nov 26th) Entry Requirements: No demotion marks after Week 3, active member |

As a Euro player Doyley , how many Master club users are looking like they may get to PGA via this event - i.e. where do i need to finish? |

So far numbers are 136, 132 and 130 on the PGA so maybe between 15 and 20 ? So the answer seems to be try to get top 15 in this event to feel secure in getting a PGA card (I would think).
For Euro it would start to be more complicated. Take the average Euro active players. 150 - that number. Now whatever that number is would be however many Euro cards would be handed out, but the caveat is obviously a player already on Euro would be passed on because that is not a move upwards, so the numbers start to get vague the further number of tours you move downward after PGA.

Worth a shot then, would be a hell of a lot quicker than having to grind out 5 promotion marks when a win is only worth two.

To be eligible you need to not be in PGA already and not have any negative movement marks (the red downward arrows). Is there any motivation to finish this tournament if after 2/3 rounds if you're nowhere within shouting distance of promotion? I'm not quite there yet, if I catch fire in round 3 I could potentially put myself back in the conversation, but anything short of that, there's no chance so I wonder why bother with round 4? |
