What’s the reason for limiting the event to players with no demotion marks if anyone needs a lift it’s people with demotion marks.

Pardon the water references, btw.

I picked up a demotion mark last week mainly because of a poor first round that doesn’t mean I’m not good enough for the tour above.

Rules are rules..I also had a demo mark sadly, but the promo event #2 will be open to all..
Though I have thought about it, I think I'm right where I should be. If I had played the promo, and by some stroke shot well enough to promote up a few tours. I feel I'd end up demoting back down anyway, so I am happy where I am. Either way it's still competition.

Ah but if you played Q School last week and had a mare meaning you go into the lower CC-AM, you're allowed to play in this week's promotion event to have another shot at a higher division because you don't get a demotion mark in Q School - seems a bit of a kick in the teeth to anyone who just had a unlucky tournament last week playing on the tour but hey ho.

I see the leader, who shot 55 in R1 and was still leading after two, has been removed...
