Week 28, Ty Web Classic at Bourg-en-Bresse:Pro clubs on PC = Tied 6th of 17 How did everyone else fare in your clubset by system results? #1 PS4/Pro. Thought I had a shot to take this one but two guys got under my score yesterday afternoon and bumped me to 3rd overall. Bummer. Still my best finish ever though, but I got greedy and wanted my first trophy. 😂

The boss man visiting our shores - hi Tim - for an nosey around and an impromptu inspection of the ranks no doubt I started my weekly rounds 2 hours later than usual. Washed my balls, took a fork from the breakfast table and scrapped off some caked dirt and grass from the groves of my irons, borrowed a pair of socks, even tipped my hat to the three ladies from the Christmas Carol Society as they came babbling and sounding cheerful as ever down past me towards the club house for their morning tea and scones. Turned the music down a tad and even started a stretching exercise on the 1st tee - which got cut short thankfully when I nearly lost my balance. Caddy gave me the evil eye and I knew we were being watched from the balcony. Just to show I take all this golfing stuff seriously I backed away from my tee shot and took a practice swing. Replaced the divot as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Caddy flashed a grin and gave me the thumbs up - the coast was clear. Wiped the last remnants of my bacon, sausage and egg roll on my pants and lined up my tee shot. Gave an almighty heave ho and 'FUUUUUUU..mmmmm...OOOOOORE!' Power faded that just-washed shiny ball so hard it looked like a shooting star. Shooting star made a bee line for and was just about to hit SAM squarely between the shoulder blades when Celtic Wolf pushed him out of the way at the last milli-second. Bunkered! smh, last time I ever shout on a golf course. Both rounds were characterized by a number of (more than usual) off tempo shots and a cold putter. -8 and -7, mid to bottom pack at best Good luck everyone.

First off. Beautiful course Aaron. You did a great job of making it feel claustrophobic, but in reality there is plenty of room to play. Really beautiful transitions from areas of closedness to openness.
That being said, I was kind of shocked this week's course didn't get asked to make a (Tour) version or clean up the lag a bit. Was tough going on xbox. But still enjoyable. Good luck all.

Oh heck Tim is here😨, everyone smile and act like one big happy family. 😂 After my flirt with Master clubs and picking up 3 demotion marks in the process, I switched back to Pro clubs to stop my visit to CC-A from being a brief one. First round of 12 under had me joint top of the in game leaderboard on the Xbox. Crazy Croc I think you've mistaken me for someone else because SAM is a rival in the Dream Team Competition and I'm sure I would've stood back and laughed at his misfortune.

Another day in paradise. Glad this tourney is done and dusted. Can't put my finger on why, but one of the least enjoyable tourneys so far this season for me. Probably a combination of a relative abundance of off tempo shots, simply just bad putting and chipping plus a course which refused to fit my eye at all.
187 greens are by far my least favourate as reading amount of break on them just don't compute in my brain at all, round 3 and 4 both came pre-installed at that speed. Had my best putting results in those 2 rounds - just about shows how broken my putting is currently.
Closed out with -9 and -10 for a -34 total.

Trust me, your putting on those greens compared to mine is like Jason Day’s compared to Rory’s. I’m not sharing my scores this week; too painful.

Went into this week blind. No practice rounds and hadn't played the game since last week's rounds (managed to just about scrape a green mark, yay). Opened with a -12 which made me extremely optimistic for the next 3 rounds. Followed it up with a disappointing -8. -20 is still good through 2. -10 and then another -8 to finish left me -38 for the tournament. Extremely pleased. Still missing a few putts because of the change to master's, easily could've been in the -40's, but I can't complain. If -32 got me a green mark last week, -38 should do it again this week.

Putter was broken during R1 (-7) and R2 (-5), but came back and had a good R3 (-10). I am really enjoying this course!

I had 9 birdies in the final round, but also 2 bogeys and a double (damn fast downswing on 9 went in the water). -27 not bad, but should have been much better.

Struggled to a -13 over first two rounds. Then round 3 came and I was on fire. Shot a -15 which is my best number to date. Finished with a -8 to get to -36. Green mark???

That's my final round for the week and for the season in the bag, and managed this hole in one on the 9th. I shot -12,-5,-5 and -8 (all Pro clubs, if anyone is interested) for a final score of -30.
That's me outta here.

That's me outta here. Very smart not playing next weeks crapfest of a course. Don't know what the schedulers were thinking. Obviously it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I think calling it a "crapfest" is a bit much. Sure, it's plain and unattractive; there's no denying that. However, from a playability standpoint, it should provide a strong challenge. You can fire at just about every pin, but your best bet is usually to play safe by 10-15 feet and not challenge the runoff areas. But if you can position yourself well on the wide fairways, then you might have a green light to attack the flag. It's a different kind of course, and I hope it will grow on you all as the week goes on. If it doesn't, then that's ok too. I'd certainly appreciate the feedback for any future designs.
