Man this is a fickle game. I was up to 3 green arrows a few weeks ago and now down to none. Scored better on Portrush in my True Sim rounds than my CC-A last week haha!
Based on the recent consistency I’m thinking I should win this week!

Does this week’s course have any tricky holes that require practice round? I might go straight into it

This game is so frustrating, I've played my first 2 rounds and sitting at -2. I think I had nearly every combination of tempos there is this week. I'm thinking of just switching back to Pro clubs as my swinging just now seems so random. Lovely course by the way especially on the second round with the clouds coming down over the mountain tops. I seem to hit a few of the hazards put out there courtesy of the random tempo.

Hi all, Played all my rounds today and, well, what can I say: rounds 1 and 4 were awful and rounds 2 and 3 were okay. +1, -9, -8, E for a total of -16 Although the course looks beautiful, I must admit I am not a fan... I prefer courses that feel like you are facing challenges and get rewards or punishments that you would face/get IRL. (sorry SAM , no disrespect, just my personal preference regarding the types of courses we get to play here) Good luck to all still to play! Frans

Absolutely no problem & no need to apologise... totally get where you're coming from. Impossible for designers (& schedulers) to please all of the people all of the time... I didn't like last weeks course & said as much. We all have our personal preferences my friend. Thanks for being honest.

Any Irish still celebrating Lowry's Open Championship? I was pulling hard for him and (from what I've read) couldn't have happened to a better guy!

First 18 on home soil in the bag & what an eventful round it was....... I got off to a nightmare start with a bogey on each of the first two holes - no tempo issues with Pro clubs just poor play. Luckily I nailed the par 5, 3rd hole shortcut left off the tee & a perfect approach earned a recovery eagle. Spurred on I managed to yield 4 birdies & an Ace (see below) which saw me at 6 under par at the turn. Lookin' good after another birdie on the short par 4, 10th before back to back pars under the watchful eye of the waterfall. Cue the disaster hole... unlucky for some number 13.... approach shot ended up in the sand trap front right & a fully lofted flop spun back off the green back into the bunker. Reset & tried again with a partial flop which didn't make the green... chipped on & one putted for a double bogey.... Dohhh!! Managed to hold it together & snaffle 3 more birds leaving me with an oddly frustrating -8 scorecard.

Sam do you play and design on PC, I’m getting a gaming laptop Sunday so I’m thinking of using it for designing on. Don’t ask why a laptop I’ve been through that on other threads basically I don’t have room for anything else. How does Steam work do you buy your games through steam and do they only run through a steam interface. Do you connect a controller to design with or do you use a mouse.
