Gainsville Open: -12, -8, -13, -13. A bad 2nd rd but still made 8th place with MC. Plus 1 green tick. Looked at my season history.. Always in the top 20. I'm Web.com material man, the system is flawed. Lol j/k
Shakeweight Invitational: Looks like Croc setting the bar early at -13. Never been intimidated by him so I doubt thats the best score. He claims to not playing well, maybe the course is a little easy this week. Or maybe he's just being modest. Who knows. But the goal should be -13 minimum.
TGCT Promo: Frans, you can't just burn through 4 rds in 1 sitting and expect good results. What a waste of time. Not sure if I'll be playing with others on this one, but I'm expecting my best showing. I've been hitting the MC better than I ever have. And I'm ready for the pros baby. Lets go.

Played another 2 rounds.
Regular -11, no bogeys, yay. Looking at the current steam l/b neifesis might have something by saying easy course, sitting middle of pack somewhere out of a couple of guys and gals who got this far.
Promo -5, gosh what a struggle, had one double when I could not get out of a bunker 1st attempt on par 3, (think) I had a big bird somewhere to offset that blemish. Putter decidedly 2nd hand after that round, took that many putts.
Aye, pinged the 18th with driver, (x)2?w and 16 footer now that I think of it. Take that!

I decided to waste a bit more time today 😉 and played the first two rounds of the regular tourney.
First round: played really well for the first 13 holes and was -10 and then the putter decided to walk off the course... still -10 after 18.
Second started really well again and then on the back nine our dog decided to start barking and running around the living room twice and I had two four-putts while shouting “you stupid beast, stop that”... played brilliant apart from those two holes and c/should have been -13 but thanks to Balou - brown labrador that is the sweetest ever but just a little bit enthusiastic when anything moves: birds, cats, leafs, flies, ants, anything really - it turned into a -7... 😂😂😂

I'm going to play this one before switching my full attention to the Promo event. Just played the first round, being properly trolled by the wind again watching the direction arrow circling around the compass. Aliens?? Wish they'd piss off, it's bloody annoying! It's one of those courses, very scoreable if you get it right, plenty of danger and slippery greens if you don't. I hit a number of bad tempo approaches but for the most part scrambled and lag putted well. One silly 3-putt for my only dropped shot, made up for with a nice chip in eagle on 17. -10, not bad, not great, it'll do for starters  Good luck this week in both events all, go get 'em! |

Round 2 done. Played pretty well again but can't seem to hole anything outside 10 feet - 8.33% putt accuracy on long putts says it all! 62 and 60 to sit -22 thru 2, I'd have certainly taken that before I teed off and I should be in the mix for top 15 MC, but can't help feeling I've missed an opportunity to really get in contention. Onwards!

Played 1st round with neifesis and dg727272 who were great company and both played solid. I fought tempo issues for my first time really the whole first 9 which made it an absolute grind. i normally don't play with a ghost or others so it was definitely a different experience versus my normal throw music on and cruise through pretty fast. probably not a great idea to do something different in a promo event but it was fun and i think i would do a live round again in regular event. In my frustration decided to play the next round solo and was off to a great start, i think -5 through 6 with long putts dropping and a chip-in but after thinking it might be a special round it deflated on the back 9. at that point i just wanted it all to be over so i raced through my last 2 rounds with little care and concentration which all came to a peak on the 71st hole when i 5-putted from about 10 feet...let me repeat that "5-PUTT FROM 10 FEET!!!". thankfully i was just tired and delirious at this point so could only laugh rather than throw my remote across the room. not sure if it was a difference of routine, a wonky controller (i did switch and have no tempo issues albeit too late), the pressure of promo or maybe the course just didn't fit my eye as they say. either way, it's safe to say i'm not getting promoted and i'm glad there isn't a demotion for bad play haha sorry for the diatribe, good luck to everyone else! i'll now focus on the regular event and getting a couple more green arrows to get promoted the normal way. |

Charlie Brown would drop his head and say 'Good grief'
Played rds 3 and 4 of the regular tour, started with a very slow downswing app on 1st hole of the day and ended the 36th hole of the day with another very slow app.
3rd round - could not buy a putt all day long on the 187 speed, I missed (almost) everything on the high side, score card says -3 for the day, I know I bogeyed the 1st, I suppose I got 4 birds somewhere
4th round, dropped a sweeping 17 footer on the 1st for birdie, birdied next 2 and then hit the par train until the 9th, birdied next 4, hit a slow ds which left me 43 feet away and boom, dropped that one to keep the birdie train going, next hole promptly missed a 5 footer, lol. Birdied 16 and 17 and lined up a full sand wedge for a tap in bird on the last and the dreaded vs down paid a visit - scrambled from a bush for par. -10
-37 for tourney, that 3 under round hurts
Played round 3 of the promo event as well, scored -7
