I’m a bit late to the party because I kinda forgot TC@SC was hosting this week but I really hope everyone has enjoyed their rounds! If anyone hasn’t played yet, my biggest piece of advice is to hit the fairways- they’re pretty wide, but with the length of some holes the course becomes very difficult if you miss the fairway. Be careful on hole 3- we have a family of rattlesnakes that like to hang out by the rocks Also, make sure to try “The Viper” at the club bar- it’s “vicious but delicious!”

Dear Golf Gods,
Thank you for the Rd 3 -13 last night with Master clubs. I've made a huge move up on the leaderboard, going from 39th to 9th. I didn't summon any ghosts from the spirit realm and decided to go solo. Was this why I recieved my good luck and fortune? I just need to know what it takes to please you indefinitely. I need a sign. I need a superb Rd 4. Please give me strength, give me wisdom. Show me the way, lead me to the path of golf salvation.
Amen.
(A golfers prayer)

With the promo event coming up (Woodley Island) is it possible to have a group of 4 tgct players playing their qualifying round(s) together? It would be fun to hear all the profanit...uh, I mean the gracious words of encouragement being uttered while partaking in the event with others.
:-)

I'm down for that. The PGA Qualifying Event on the 1st? I heard you could run society events together but I've never done that. Just private match playing.
Post this in the other tours and we could create our own junction for the qualifier. Random groups of 2-3 then based on 1st rd scores tee off with players with similar scores. Then 2nd rd, etc. I'll do the work for it all if we get some interest. (Check the leaderboard, group players accordingly, and post it within the forum)

But with the amount of entrants there will be I'm sure you'll find enough players to take part. It might be best to keep things simple at first then maybe try get refine it on another event. What platform are you playing on?

Sorry I can't help I'm on the Xbox in the UK. But it might be worthwhile posting in the different flight threads or just create a new one explaining what your aim is. Good luck

Hi all,
I have played all four rounds of the promo tourney. Lovely course, but the conditions - very fast greens - unfortunately did not help me because my putting on fast greens is my weakness. Had two very, very stupid bogies in the first round and one similarly stupid one in the last. Apart from that, it was a story of missing at least a dozen putts by less than an inch...
On the bright side: I did avoid disasters (worse than bogey) and you guys will get to enjoy my company here for quite some time to come. Unless of course, I win this week’s regular tourney.... 😂😂😂
-4, -6, -6, -5: -21
Best wishes and good luck to all, Frans

Played 1 round at both the regular stop and the promo stop. Weird rounds in a sense, felt like I was never quite in control - swing lines almost always jagged, fighting for tempo, yet not once did I feel at risk of dropping a shot. Had a fair number of slow downs, a handful of very slow downs, but a few decent chips stopping any drop shot risks. Enjoyed both courses although the promo one had me a bit miffed on 2 occasions - 1st time somewhere mid-round if I recall correctly, went for a safe 2w off the tee (driver landing and rollout tad tight), hit middle of f/w and bounced 45 degrees left off into the rubbish and on 18th, risked driver to tight spot in order to have chance for par 5 green in 2, hit perfect shot, bounced sharp right into rough. Maybe some courses are made with intension of peeps needing to praccy or play a few scouters in order to learn the ins and outs, dunno. Nothing wrong with that I suppose, just i'd prolly rather go racing or play mine sweeper if I had to play scout rounds too Scoring, -13 for regular and -10 for promo. Not sure how good or bad that is, -13 sounds competitive but I did not really play well I think, the -10 I played better/drained tougher putts. Add Webbers and Euro's to the mix and -10 prolly decent score at the turn . Good luck all.
