Yeah Fraans got that start with pro, switch to masters glitch. Played his rd 1 ghost again just to make sure I saw it right the 1st time. Should be a pro club user on the leaderboard. You can't switch clubs mid round. There is no such glitch.

Disappointing first round for me. Two horrendous 3-putts on the front 9, one of them from nowhere, just tugged 'em left, they never had a chance. After that got it together but one of those rounds where I couldn't drop anything outside 12 feet. Made a nice birdie at the dangerous 18th to finish on -7 and give myself a little cheer. Will need to do better! Used 2 wood off the tee a few times and also had a couple of slow back swings, just in case anyone is worrying about my choice of club sets

16 under through 36..... Could & should have been a lot lower but missed 2 easy eagle putts & a host of short birdies. Tempted to give the Master clubs a run out for the final 2 rounds to see what difference they make to the approach shots. Nice course - particularly liked the waterfall dividing holes 9 & 18.

I failed to complete my rounds for the 2nd week in a row, so now back to 4 demotion marks. Work to do!
But I did get to play in 2 RL golf tournaments over the weekend so I'll tell y'all about them instead. Saturday morning was a 4 man scramble charity that me and 3 of my friends have played in for about 6 years and it's always a lot of fun. We started slow only -1 after 7 holes, then heated up with birdies on the next 5 and 8 out of the last 11 for -9 which was decent. We usually try to get to at least double digits.
The other was my club's member-member which is 36 holes with each round being a different format. 1st 9 is a select drive-best ball where both tee off, pick the best one then play own ball in and we shot even, not bad pretty much nine stress-free pars. 2nd 9 is a scramble and we shot -3. They flight it off the first round and we found ourselves in the bottom of the championship flight 7 strokes back. 1st 9 in the final round is another scramble and we played really well and shot -6. The last 9 is what makes or breaks everyone as you both tee off on 10, pick the best one, then it's alternate shot the rest of the way! We came out hot and birdied the first 2 which is just about unheard of (for me and my partner anyway), then went bogey, birdie, bogey, double bogey (I had the tee and went OB like an idiot), par, par, par for a +1 on the back. Finished -8 total and got 2nd place. Our -5 on the final round was the best score of the day so we were pretty proud of that.
It was a great weekend. I can't think of anything that's much more fun than getting to play 54 holes in 2 days with my closest friends!

Sometimes you find a course that just falls into your game and compliments it perfectly. Snake is not that course for me. Struggling to find any level of consistency on a course most players are blazing.
-21 through 54 holes...gotta go low in the final round to even scrape by not getting a red strike

I feel ya Phlyer. Earned my first red mark last week due to no consistency. Birdied last 2 holes this wk rd 1 to start -10. Would love to keep that pace!

Played round 2 today, different day, pfffft. Yesterday, good tempo mostly, today bad tempo mostly. Struggled finding the right line on greens too. Even shut the music off. Didn't help. Tee shots - mostly p/p, apps - power fade city, except for 1 super power fade, on the 16th, again. This time the bunker won . The only power draw of the day came on the 18th tee, found the water, smh 18 under after 36 Art would prolly say onward! Think i'll just put it in neutral and coast for a while

Not sure how I got -12 with MC but it happened. Tied for 15th promo at the moment. Hopefully, still after I finish typing this.
Ghosts- DenRizz, Fransslabak, and SteynPing
Won't give a recap of each player but I will say it was alot of fun with this group. Very competitive. At 1 point after the turn we were all tied at -8. I took a deep breath and said, "forget about the past, finish strong, you're better than these guys". Ended up losing by 1 stroke. Lol
Quite surprised at my performance with master clubs. Not sure if I could be in first with Pro clubs either. Even though I had 3-4 bad tempo swings I think the best I could've done was -13 or -14. Maybe a little better. Who knows. Not too upset about my decision since I still have a chance for a green tick.
Might play rd 2 tonight. Yesterday was a good MC day. Today might be a whole lot different.

Played early this week before heading out for a week's holiday in Germany. Ended @ -49 but many, many missed opportunities to go really low. Course was definitely there for the taking except for round 3. Parring the long par 5 each round and two very slow downswings in rds 3 and 4 leading to bogeys on the long par 3s will hurt. Someone is probably going to shoot the lights out and go sub -55. Good luck all!

R1 -9 R2 -12
Really happy with my start, a must need when now on 3 strikes. Played some of my best golf (MC), and left birdies out there.
Need to keep the rhyme going ahead of next weeks promotion event, last chance to get into elite tier this season I reckon.

Back in CC-A after a long period away. Won CC-B event last week and started off at -13 this week. Followed up with a -8 and -15 to leave me at -36 going into the last day.

Had a pair of 62's bookend my inconsistency. Finished -31. I honestly think my next step is to buy a refurb PS4 and join the masses playing a much easier game

Pretty much the same for me. -12, then a trashy -8. Thinking I need 2 -15s even before I read your post but thats unlikely. You need that too. 3rd rd was a good start to a strong finish. And you're 1 stroke ahead after 2 so you could even get a -14 in the 4th. Wish I was in your boat. GL

For a change in scenery and pace I swapped out to pro clubs for the last 2 rounds.
Whacked 5 slow downs for round 3 and a solitary slow down in round 4. The rest all p/p (not counting chips). Did not really reflect in scoring though with a pair of -8's. Included 3! chip-ins in 3rd round - must be an all time record for me in tgc3 - and zip in 4th. Did make a putt from the fringe though. Never threatened to drop a shot and kept both cards bogey free.
It was the 3rd time I've played 2 different club sets in the same tourney since joining cc-a and my (limited) experience so far has been that there is not much difference in the club sets scoring wise.
Master clubs = will make more birdies and always have eagle chances, disaster hole is just a single bad swing away (bad tempo danger) Pro sticks = less birdies, few eagle opportunities, disaster holes, wots dat? (much longer clubs on apps)
Playing enjoyment wise i'd say its like popping down to the shop to buy bread and milk - one has a choice between the frugal Korean made mosquito or an ozone layer destroying, noise polluting German or Italian made V8. They both take you from A to B in the same time due to traffic and considerate road safety driving, but hey, yolo
