As someone who is about to start life back in the Challenge Circuit I don't have an issue with people using lesser club sets. If there are people that only enjoy playing that way then let them have at it, CC-A will become their championship. As long as that doesn't get in the way of Masters club users who want to progress then what's the problem? The proof will be in the pudding, let's see how it runs for a little while and go from there. I honestly don't see what enjoyment you can get from shooting -70odd with Beginners clubs but that's me. In theory I think the current rules are just fine. These tours should be all inclusive but at the same time the top tours should have a level playing field. That's what they've done isn't it? If anything it's going to piss off other pro/beginner club users as they wont have a chance to win. Perhaps there could be a rule like on the real Web.com tour where if you win 3 times in a season you get promoted. Surely if someone is going to be the best non master club player out there they should accept the challenge of the master clubs. If they stink with them they'll be back down in no time.

Battlefield promotion! I like it.

I'm a pro club player who is starting off in CC-C, I'll be waiting to see how I do in this flight before considering switching to master clubs. If I'm not enjoying playing with master clubs then I'll switch back because I play the game for fun. I've seen a lot of snobbery from master club users towards pro/beginner club users. If I get forced to play with a club set I'm not happy with then I'll be out.

Hi guys, just come back to the game after falling out of love with TGC2.... Q-school - Do I just rock up and play the current event on the schedule or is there a way to register and be part of the 'field'? Read the instructions and it sounds as though there is no registration but the player field for the current event is populated. Cheers, Colin

Hi Les, good to hear from you mate. You still playing on Xbox? I’m jumping back to Xbox after a couple of years on the PC circuit. Took advantage of the Black Friday sales and have a new XB1X arriving on Tuesday so quite excited for that. Only played a few rounds of TGC2019 but it feels like the game I expected TGC2 to be, quite enjoying it so far. I’ve changed my gamer tag to xRFC 1872 WATPx , so look out for my ghost out there..... Cheers mate

Cheers mate Yes Col I’m still on Xbox and like you I bought a One X game looks good on it and plays ok. If you read some of the posts earlier there are problems with tempo on Xbox especially using master clubs but I suspect it’s more on the standard Xbox, I still have a few tempo issues but I feel they’re not as bad as reported. I will watch for your ghost scores and add you on Xbox live.
