Apologies if this has been mentioned before but what is the point of shooting -70 using beginner clubs ? What fun do you get out of that ?
Ridiculous

Knowing that you topped a division probably. Which is pants considering you win nothing. Hopefully the WGR points on offer are also affected by clubs used. E.G. if you win CC-A with baby clubs then you get 1/3 WGR points, Pro = 2/3 points and Masters = 100% points. This is the only thing that they can possibly be after as they can't advance further than CC-A with these clubs.
However, as this is only Q School, I feel these peeps are those that just wanted to make sure they are in CC-A with the fear that if they used Masters, they could've missed the Pro tours and be done in a lower division that A. These peeps I'd expect to be using Masters next week.
I think at some stage just for CC-A, the admins should review the winners and if they are using Beginners shooting these scores, they should be forced to Pro and then to Masters (Pro to Masters I've heard will be forced if they see them abusing the format and smashing the division each week (unless I'm mistaken)).

We'll be promoting them out of CC-A if they shoot that low on beginner clubs or pro clubs repeatedly

How is it pointless using Master clubs? The people being promoted from CC-A will have to use Master clubs or not play.

Already been discussed. If you are the highest master club finisher and you are 45th, then grats you are #1 on the master club list. So there are only 17 Masters players currently in CC-A..... something might need to be looked at there... pretty much if you get to CC-A you will likely get promoted for being in top 10 masters. Top 10 master club users won't auto promote, but will get promo marks. Once they get 5 promo marks they would be promoted. Obviously if you win a CC-A tourney using master, you will then auto promote to Web.. otherwise it is accumulation of the promo marks.

It's not spelled out in Doyley's post as such but from what he's said in his recent post plus the fact that only Masters can play in the Pro tours, this is what I'm expecting and reading from it. If it is not (big IF), then all hell would break loose on these forums and it will be like Brexit where some will be screaming for another Q School!

Ridiculous i cant hit masters or pro clubs. my swing line is as crooked as donald trump. ladies clubs allow me to stay in the blue swing zone. why would i go back to masters clubs where i was shooting +8 every round? im lucky if i can get my rounds in each week, no time to practice up. so yes i will be sticking with the clubs that make the game fun as fukc to play. if i get moved up and forced to play with different clubs so be it. i will just not enjoy it until i get moved back down. maybe being forced to play with them will slowly make me better. just not something i want to do by choice. i want to enjoy hitting baller shots

Pro/Beginner club users in CC-A won't be able to earn positive promotion marks. They can get negative and then earn some to clear - but once they get back to 0 they can't get more. Master club users are the only ones that will earn positive promotion marks.
That said, if players on beginner clubs are cleaning up (like they are in Q-School) they'll be promoted up to Web.com where they'll have to use Master Clubs or move on.

No judgement I am generally curious? What do you think you would have shot using Pro? Masters?
Edit -- Nevermind, I found it, didn't have to scroll down the leaderboard, nice shooting, that's a lot of birdies!

My best record at Q School using masters clubs was 5 under. But I've still finished 35 over for the whole event over 8 rounds. But I will use masters clubs regardless when I get tour card. It's just a personal preference even though it was annoying at St Bede's course that's where I lost my shots.
