All mouse users should try switching to hamsters

Nothing about the swing itself has been changed, as per HB. Launch angle and spin were tuned so some club distances have changed (most notably, 3W).
There were some optimizations done in the downloadable patch, so it is possible that the game runs differently, throwing off your tempo.

Anybody know what time on Sunday the event opens up? Thanks to all involved for th hard work to get these tours up and running. Sometime in the morning, you can enter the society and it will tell you if the event is active or not. Note that first round scores won't begin to populate on the website until Monday.. Also, if you haven't already done so, play the current exhibition event to make sure all your scores are pulled properly. The Q School events will take place in the same society TGC Tours (Special Events)..

Possibly a dumb question but I'm a noob at this game. During QSchool and the subsequent seasons will I only play people using the same console as me? It doesn't seem fair that an xbox player plays against cpu players who have the advantage of a mouse. And when will the date be available to choose when registering for QSchool?

No, all the tours are cross platform. Everyone plays on their platform and the TGCT website pulls the scores to form one leaderboard.
Think the Mouse players might respectfully disagree that is an advantage in 2019 btw. The received wisdom is that the PS4 is the easiest to play the game on.

It doesn't seem fair that an xbox player plays against cpu players who have the advantage of a mouse. oh lawd, I predict a s**tstorm from mouse users to this comment I don't play with a mouse but from what I've heard on the forums, mouse users are seriously struggling with the game, so I reckon they're the last people you should be worried about In response to your other question, yes TGCT is entirely cross-platform, it's been that way for years and has been extremely successful. Although it's impossible to say with any certainty, it does seem like PS4 users are slightly more common among the better players, but overall standards are even enough that you can have PC and Xbox players mixing it up with the best of them as well.

I sure as hell wouldn't swap my buttery smooth frame rates and feeling of smug self satisfaction at being part of the master race for a couple of places on a leaderboard

I find the DS4 controller easier to use than the XBox360 gamepad. That's in the limited amount of hours I played TGC2 on PC with a controller.
I played TGC1 with a mouse and it was a huge advantage, but from all I've read with this game, using a mouse is near impossible.
PS4 has the most good players largely because it has the most players, period.

PS4 has the most good players largely because it has the most players, period. I agree that explains the vast majority of it, but I know from my experience, as well as what several people who have played on multiple platforms have said, that PS4 tempo in particular is slightly easier (perhaps fairer to say that it causes slightly fewer bad tempos, possibly due to its embarrassingly weak, but stable, frame rates). When I tried PS4 for a month last year I definitely found tempo to be a tiny bit less sensitive than PC, but couldn't live with the hideous visuals and stutter.

It depends on what you are looking for. With enough practice, using a mouse in TGC 2K19 is as close to a golf sim as you can get! It is NOT a sim of my game (career bogey gawlfer) nor is it enabling you to shoot sub 60 rounds. Again, with enough practice you can be close to par, maybe shoot under par one round then over par the next. That's all I ever wanted in a cyber golf game.

I'm so ready for this Q-School to start, I'm over all these practice rounds at St Bedes! I just want to be done with this course already.
My dilemma for the Pro clubs vs Master's Clubs- if you go with Masters and Eff up a round or two- then you could find yourself down in CC-D/ CC-C and a year of trying to find your way back to Web/Euro.

When i go to the "register for QSchool" page, it wants me to choose my console AND starting date in drop down boxes. There is no date available, what is that for and will i still be able to compete without being able to register on that page?
