Play Valmont.(Velmont?) Also designed by Artic Fury if you want fear of heights, My bad Rod, I should have mentioned it was Valmont. That must have taken some time to create. Very impressive! 2 rounds +27, heading for St. Bedes. When the tour starts I'm going to avoid any speeds over 175. I just can't handle those high green speeds. I think 175 is the average SLOW speed on the tour. LOL

A key telling stat from that poll you didn't share: Only 39 votes. We ARE the lost minority. If this effected console players I think there would be more than 39 poll participants. Just sad that HB might not do anything just based on how few mouse swingers voiced their concerns. You are most correct about the low level of folks who have taken the poll. I seem to remember the number of mouse players were between 10-15% of the overall number of people who played TGC, so the low level doesn't surprise me. I would be very impressed if 40-50% of the entire people who own the game even get on to the forums. Sadly I have no stats. What can be seen tho is the difference, even in a smaller number between those just fine with the swing and those that who are truly having a problem.
One can interpret the poll as saying, 'Those with an issue won't come on to the forums anyway to praise a game they are happy with' which is definitely valid but also as valid is saying people who play the game non-competitively and just really by themselves and not with the community are just as likely not to get involved with the community and may feel it isn't worth joining the forums simply cause it is too much problems. I know we have had several people who play here who never had logged into the HB forums and asked for help how to do so in order to be part of the poll.
Either way it is still a big discrepancy if you look at the poll where it says only 17% are perfectly happy, 63% feel they can't play with the mouse at all and 20% who can play with it to some degree but aren't fully satisfied. 83% in otherwords feel that something is wrong with the swing. I dare say that if the same poll was created with controllers the number would be no where near what we see in this poll. I don’t play with a mouse but my friend uses a controller on his PC. Wouldn’t that fix the issue?

Besides, the gliding back and forth of the mouse, for me, mimics the golf swing more than flicking a controller do-flicky.

The last regular season event of 2017-18 season was won by Brandt Snedeker (Wyndham Championship) - we are now into the new 2018-19 PGA Tour season.
So if the guy isn't BS-ing - then Sneds plays TGC.........
One thing I can 100% guarantee though (whether the above statement is true or not) - there are indeed guys who have played in tour events who play on this site

LOL Yup, but you don't see many relatively flat greens and when at 180 and above "fa ged a boud it" lol. I might make 1 or 2 tough putts but usually, average +30 putts, I envy the folks with scores in the -30's -40's but I'll keep playing!

Hi all, I played my first two rounds of the exhibition tournament yesterday but do not see my scores on the leaderboard, nor do I see a "my scores" tab. Does this mean there is a problem with my system/settings - this is my very first time playing in a TGC Tours event - or should I just be patient?

If you sign up on the TGCT site, you will be correctly registered for this event. If you want to practice, then you need to set up your own games in order to do this: Week 1 course is "The Low Course at St Bedes" - Search for "Bedes" Week 2 course is "Pearl Mountain" - Search for "Pearl"

Actually I’m most comfortable at 165 to 175. 170 takes the most skill in my mind . 187 is just stupid and not skill worthy and not actually putting. More tapping and hoping LOL. Just looked. 33 putts for a +3 in round 1 Putting just takes time like everything else......I’m still waiting

Think I know the answer to my question..my scores are showing up on the leaderboard. Should they be up by the end of the day or is there a problem on my end?

Think I know the answer to my question..my scores are showing up on the leaderboard. Should they be up by the end of the day or is there a problem on my end? I see you on the leaderboard, you're all good (R1 -2). The leaderboard is 'delayed' reveal, so R2 will show up on Wed, R3 on Friday, and R4 on Saturday. Hope this helps..
