Thinking of the fair play policy - how about an addition to it:
First infraction - no issue, just the removal of scores as previously - as nearly all of these are due to faulty controllers (ie not the players fault) Second infraction - still no issue (apart from the removal of scores again) - can be someone trying to correct issues and it not working.
Third (and all subsequent) infractions - demotion by one tour level - and removal of x% of total WGR points for each infraction. If you get done three (or more) times - then you are blatantly ignoring the policy - and deserve a much harsher punishment imo than just removal from one event - demotion and loss of WGR are the only ways to do that. Why should a known straight shooter be allowed to keep their WGR and tour position - and then qualify for majors etc despite that?

Is anybody playing with ghosts to see if the 20 mile an hour wind is going the same direction for everybody? I wouldn’t want to see a 20 mile an hour headwind well my opponent might have a 20 mile an hour tailwind I don't direction is a big deal, as long as the wind speed is the same. You can have a tail wind a opponent doesn't. Real golf changes as well. 😳 Headwind vs Tailwind on a tucked pin... you think that if people play opposites, then that is fair?? Tailwind helps you into a Par 5 in 2 and your opponents can’t get there? Crikey...

DoyleyHas anyone tested the ‘power a’ controller (for newbs - a seemingly legit, but 3rd party controller that failed the API in the previous game) to see if it passes? I’ll play round 2 with mine so you can see the results of the API if you like - I’ll get it done some time in the next 24hrs 👍 Huzzah 🇦🇺

Yeah no way the F310 makes the cut here.

Got it done. The power-a cord comes out exactly where I hold it now, so it was a little uncomfortable and/or I didn’t play very well. I saw enough to suspect it’s going to fail. Please check round 1 while you’re there. It’s with the legit controller, just taking the opportunity to have it checked while I’ve got your attention. No drama if you’re busy and can’t 👍 *Theres no cut, he’s saying the 310 controller won’t be allowed to be used. I suspect once admin have seen the round I just played the power-a controllers will also be banned.

Played 4 rounds. PS4. Winds high on R1. 21mph on first hole. Winds low on R2. Wonderful course. Only thing I noticed was tee box on 17th hole was a little slanted. Didn’t really affect my shot since I cannot hit anything straight.

Just played all four rounds in succession on PS4. For some reason, seemed like the quoted wind settings for rounds 3 & 4 were transposed for me. Otherwise, pin and other settings seemed to be on point.
Pin 1 (- 5) X Wind Speed: Very High (Start: S @ 22, Min: 17, Max: 24) X Wind Direction: Southwest (S & SW) X Time of Day: Morning X Weather: Clear X Green Speed: Very Fast (187) X Green Firmness: Very Firm X Terrain Firmness: Very Firm
Pin 2 (- 10) X Wind Speed: Low (Start: NE @ 4, Min: 2, Max: 5) X Wind Direction: Northeast (NE) X Time of Day: Afternoon X Weather: Light Cloud X Green Speed: Moderate (144) X Green Firmness: Soft X Terrain Firmness: Soft
X Pin 3 (- 13) Wind Speed: High (SW @ 10, Min: 1, Max 11) Wind Direction: East (W, SW) X Time of Day: Default X Weather: Clear X Green Speed: Default (187) Green Firmness: Default Terrain Firmness: Default
X Pin 4 (-11) Wind Speed: Default (NE @ 16, Min: 7, Max 19) Wind Direction: Default (NE, E) X Time of Day: Default X Weather: Deafult X Green Speed: Default (187) Green Firmness: Default Terrain Firmness: Default
As far as being ready for Q-School. -39 is currently 3rd on the PS4 leaderboard (w/ master clubs). I'm sure it will be outside the top 10 by the time all's said and done, but it's a far cry from what I could have done in TGC2. Very excited for Q-School and to see where I land!

If you continue on after a round, how do you check the green and terrain firmness? It looks to me like checking course conditions once you are in the round only shows the default firmness, not the currently selected firmness. Is there somewhere else to look?

Fantastic scores, man! I got -7 in R2 after a dismal +6 in R1 and I feel on top of the world at 33 on the XB1 Leaderboards, lol. Relating to the tests - everything checks out with what others are reporting. Looks great!

1. Did your pins/tees match up to the round you were playing? Yes 2. Did your conditions match up to the round you were playing? Yes 3. Did you notice any bugs/issues with conditions/settings? No 4. Are you ready for Q-School?---Not if I had 1,000 years
PS: This course was harder than Bedes for me! I shot +14 (windy), +2, +1, and still have to finish round 4.

1. Did your pins/tees match up to the round you were playing? I believe so. I just played the first two rounds and didn't exit between them. I'm pretty certain that the pin locations were different, but I didn't see anywhere to check which pin sets/course settings were in use mid round.
2. Did your conditions match up to the round you were playing? Yes.
3. Did you notice any bugs/issues with the conditions/settings? No.
4. Are you ready for Q-School? I shot -3 over the first two rounds, so...yes?
