I usually get Fast/Perfect. Enjoy how it works though - far more likely to get a perfect downswing (and thus hit it straight ish) on a shorter swing.
Finding some of my best chips are just little 65%/70% nudges forward with an 8/9 iron, get it on the green and let it roll. Just like real Golf.
Definite improvement in this area
Haha... Crazy game! I have had a really straight long game since 2019, yet I can't keep chips and putts straight! Actually changed controllers last night to see what I could make of it and I can now chip and putt straight but my long game isn't as straight. It's workable though  Will persevere! So you'll be playing 'Controller Alt-Shot' now then: Tee to green with Controller 1, then take it out, and plug in Controller 2 for the chipping and putting  Best of both worlds #FadgeforNo1in2019 |

I have found that actually watching the golfer animation helps in 2019 as opposed to TGC2 where it was better to look at the controller. When I watch the golfer, I get better tempo. That could just be me though...

knowing the top of the swing animation to each shot type and then ensuring a smooth downswing at the right tempo and line ensures a decent chance to stay in the red zone accuracy channel.
Also remember you cant hit it perfect every time good players have decent consistency and miss on the right side to enable decent recovery, a great short game finishes the job off.
Stoked and really looking forward to season 5!!
