I am sadly also out for next season. It's mainly a time issue but have to admit there's also a little bit of lack of inclination, although I'm away for a few weeks of the next season anyway. It's not the game, it's me! I will definitely be back, this one and BOB are brilliantly run societies. Thanks for all you do Ken, and see you all soon.

Thanks boys & girls for a great season and congratulations to all the winners 🏆 it's a joy to be finally 50 🤣🤣🤣 , big thanks to ken & Davie for all your hard work in this society, looking forward to the following season but I'll be honest im littery hanging on by a thread in this version now .
We need some news for the new game for sure.

Just an update on my position. Still no new stick and not interested in playing whilst not competitive. I will leave it up to Ken as to whether he puts me in for next season or not as I may be up and running sometime soon. I'm happy to run last man tho so the young gun(Mr longpole) can defend the GBS(golden bog seat).

NEWSFLASH:
This is not bad news. I am continuing to run the society. However, like many of you, I am a bit jaded with the mechanics of this version of the game. It is only the camaraderie of this group (and The Brew Crew) and the seemingly never-ending supply of new courses that keep me going.
So, this season, there will only be ONE round of 18 for each event not two.
When I first started this society it was one round per event but there were two events each week. I could not cope with the admin burden from that so shifted to two rounds for each weekly event. Now it will be ONE round per event per week.
I also think this gives more chance for an upset win.
If this changes anybody's mind about Season 63, please let me know in the next day or so.

With my illness, I had about a 6 month break from the game and came back fresh and excited. Actually played better after the break too. |

I'm happy with a 1 rounder Ken, if it makes life a little easier , why not .Think a lot of us are going through the motions with this game now apart from Alan who has found love again with this game . Great to see especially after what you've gone through.
Can I be cheeky Ken I've a couple of courses out there , not played in awhile would love to see how you boys score on them . Default green speeds are around 160 , 170 . Can be played on any pin , tested them so many times . There called passions of Kent & passions of Essex. Only if you've got a slot no worries if your all sorted for the season . Cheers
