So, Ladies and Gentlemen, what do we think the cut will be this week? I am going for somewhere between -18 to -20. This course can dish up birdies on pretty much any hole, so going by the level of play in the last tournament, I can't see anyone having trouble going low. Good luck and play well.

Wow, the range is -18 to -22 seems a little high.
It seems a bit more difficult than Powderfinger, so I think maybe -14 to -16 this week.

16 to 18.
If you have to break 20 under through two rounds just to make the cut....wow

I'll go for -15. Theres a few holes that can bite you if you get too complacent.

You can hit close on most holes, but get on the wrong part of these greens, and you face a tough two putt.

Greetings all. This is a great little target shooting course which I think will make people want to shoot at the pin on every hole. That is fine but as stated it can bite you quite hard if you are wrong or unlucky.
That being said -16 is my prediction.

When I started seeing the practice round scores I was thinking -20. I'd be lucky to get that low and I designed the thing so I'm dialing that back now. Guessing -14 to -16.

13 players have already shot sub 60 rounds. This isn't that hard of a course. It has some quirks like pins being closer than 10 feet to the edge of the green (which is illegal) and holes on the crown of large breaks, but over all it is a fairly easy course. The key of course is getting close so you avoid double breaks and such. The par 5's are laid out so you can go at a least one in 2 regardless of what way the wind is blowing.

Isn't the tendency for the better players to play quite early on though? I can't see the cut being -20 - that's plain silly.

It has some quirks like pins being closer than 10 feet to the edge of the green (which is illegal) That's actually a myth (the illegal pins thing). From the USGA site: Rule 16 Requirements for Hole Location on the Putting Green Q. What are the requirements for establishing a hole location on the putting green? A. The USGA frequently receives requests for guidelines with respect to selection of hole locations on the putting greens, particularly during competitions. There are no rules regarding hole locations, so there is no such thing as an "illegal" hole location. The USGA believes that many factors affect selection of hole locations. The first and most important is good judgment in deciding what will give fair results. www.usga.org/RulesFAQ/rules_answer.asp?FAQidx=143&Rule=16It's a commonly held myth, but a myth nonetheless.
