So here's a little something that I started working on last spring that is now just about complete. The Club at Old Mill Creek is located in Northern Illinois about an hour drive north of Chicago, just past the Six Flags Amusement Park.
The course features huge open mown areas with large raised greens that were designed to play fast and firm. This par 72 comes in at just over 7,250 yards from the tips with two shorter boxes for members .
I've been designing this using TGC1 and I ported over a couple of betas recently for some testing and you're all welcome to give them a go and let me know what you think. The latest versions are called TC@OMC beta 03b and TC@OMC beta tour with the tour version having lightning fast greens and tournament flair around the tee boxes and clubhouse.
The golf course is complete and now I’m just testing conditions and pin placements. There will be a few versions of the course released sometime in the 2nd or 3rd week of June. Stay tuned...

Played the tour beta this morning on the PS4 and shot -2 in light winds. Tough to leave the ball below the hole on some of these pins.

Looks like a nice course. I will definitely try this one out. I am familiar with that area...I have family (wife's side) that live in Highland Park and Lincolnshire. We take 94 up through into Wisconson every year when we go to Minoqua (Northwoods region).

So I tested the last two sets of pins for the 'tour' version today. Everything is looking good but this version plays a lot tougher than I had thought it would. Pin set four is the probably the easiest of the bunch and the only one that yielded a sub 70 round for me. Here's a video of that round if you have a few minutes...
Keep your eye's peeled guys...not too much longer for the launch.
