Being a fan of BF I don't get why they went to WW1 after BF4 . Now WW2? So played out.
Might be good though I just think modern warfare is better. Whatever it is it better be good because a lot of people are tired of twitch shooters. PUBG proves that.

I like the WWII era games so this will be right up my alley, although I have not played CoD's WWII latest release. Since BF went WWI with the last game, going WWII looked like a viable step to me. We may see the Korean War at some point if they have decided to go chronological. Or maybe they go way backwards and give us The Civil War? That would be a challenge for them for sure. |

Battlefield never touched the middle East. Certainly a lot of to pull from there. I don't mind WW2 but I didn't like BF1 . I prefer hardcore mode and it was a sniping fest. More so than normal because the weapons sucked.
I always thought the revolutionary war could be interesting. Would love to kill me some red coats 😁
Civil war I think would also be interesting but considering the reason for that war I don't think any devs would touch it.
EA does awesome trailers so I'm sure it will look really good .

They would have to take some liberty with the loading time of a musket though lol. I think they should take on the Civil War. A great opportunity to slide in a historical lesson or two (if they keep it accurate) into a video game. They shouldn't shy away from it. Take it by the horns and go with it. |

Yea the Revolutionary game would certainly take a lot of skill to shoot anyone lol. I would be hiding in the trees and not lining up though! Would teach younger people about what we went through to get our independence as well which is a good thing.
I just know with the Civil war you would have a lot of douche bags saying horrible racist stuff.
COD just announced they are going to have a battle royal mode.

Can't do much about the douche bags except mute and report if necessary. They are already out there. I do think games like these have a bit of responsibility of teaching a little history. The opportunity to have a young mind engaged in a game and learning w/o feeling like they are being preach-taught in a classroom is priceless. Saw the CoD mode - you in?  |

COD is a no go. Too arcade and fast paced for my liking. I did see they will have vehicles which I do not think COD has ever had. that might be cool.
My guess is BF will be amazing looking and if they do a BR mode it will be more inline with what I enjoy. More tactical sim type gameplay.

I'm not sure what COD's take on BR is. I'm guessing it will be similar to PUBG as far as spawing with no weapons or health on a large map with a 100 people. The one thing that makes PUBG very difficult is there is no aim assist and no spotting of enemies on the map. A lot of times when I die I am like where the F was that guy lol.
I watched some of the normal gameplay on IGN of the new game and it looks like the same old COD to me. I was reading the comments and most were negative. Saying the game looks like the last version with a new skin.

I hope it is good. I love PUBG but I am getting tired of the issues with the game on Xbox X. Especially the fact that the game seems to work better on the OG xbox than the X. I know if EA puts out a enhanced version of BF it will look and sound awesome. Add the BR mode to it and I will most likely get it.

Think im too old for these games nowdays, way to fast paced for me. felt it looked alot like BF1/battlefront with green textures I havent tried a BF game since BF3 and i thought that was too fast paced, but who knows Wish for a new good Rainbow six, played ALOT of Raven shield back in the day, or a new SWAT game. The only game im really hyped for this year(but i doubt it will be good) is the new Splinter Cell, assuming cyberpunk is still a couple of year away |
