Aluminium Cup Series- Elite 8 #3 CF Gibson vs #11 Craig Thomas Round 1 - (-15) Round 2 - (-13) Total Rds (-28) 2nd round hit a great shot into #18 that hit middle of green, and kept rolling, rolling, rolling, over the green, down the hill into the water...a birdie/eagle hole that I managed to get up and down for par....could be a difference maker.

ACS Elite 8 #4 Ahlmark vs #5 Bilchik Bilchik R1: -9 R2: -10 Don’t mind that bogey at the end, needed the alby for the tie and hit it in the water going for the green in 2. Well played Johan! Got a case of the very fasts in round one and had to scrape together a -9 just to stay in it. Had an amazing round going in the second at -8 thru 10 but couldn’t keep it up on the back. Kudos and good luck in the final four!

ACS Elite 8 Final Scores Alert:
#2 Donald Tagariello defeated #7 Frans Melissen -24 to -22
Round 2, Hole #15.....par 5. Would you go back and change your strategy Frans fransslabak? That's a tough pill to swallow for sure, especially as your two round score would get you a win many times on any given week. Still though, you played fantastically well all season long and you continue to show the talent of an A golfer in this league and tournament. What say you and xclgizman08 bring home a team championship maybe? TAGROCKET moves on and the Final Four is going to be an absolute dog fight.
#4 Johan Ahlmark defeated #5 Zach Bilchik -23 to -19
The competition only gets tougher each round and Zach CoinHen77 was very aware of this. I think the common denominator here is that mistakes can't happen and for the most part, his cards were clean. Maybe some missed birdie opportunities? What say you and daveok1919 bring home a team championship maybe? (Can't play favorites, you know!) Johan hojen had one blip on hole #13 of round 2 but seemed to own the AF course otherwise. Great effort sir, moving along like a well oiled machine. We could very well have a #1-4 ACS group but our Cinderella jhandz92 threw up a great score that may well have Theopen suffer from an occasional yip out on the course. Will have to wait and see how that match ends.

There are small margins and another outcome on the last seven could easily have given you the win. Great play and I hope to see you in the next season.

Round 2, Hole #15.....par 5. Would you go back and change your strategy Frans fransslabak? Errr, what do you think? 😩😩😩😩 Seriously though, no, because the only reason I got close was that I threw caution to the wind and went for everything... Donald deserved to win and I’m happy to have given him a proper match.

I'm honestly happy to have even made it to the Elite 8 this year and looking at the competitors that are left, I can walk away knowing that I was in pretty esteemed company. Jason, this society continues to be THE BEST. It's well run, organized and the course selection is seriously top notch. As I said at the start of the season, this is my favorite society (sorry LEFTY79 NFL comes in a very close 2nd) and can't wait to compete again next season. Now before I get too nostalgic, daveok1919 lets go get that team trophy!!
