Dude, everyone gets ghost breaks/no breaks. Known and widespread issue that can be mitigated through looking at the gridlines and not the beads. Not much else can be said. Maybe i'm just crazy, but the beads are literally the mechanic that is suppose to show you the break. My biggest issue with putting is that the beads seems to be going about 1/2 the speed they actually should be... If the beads are slowly moving on a 10 foot putt, Well I better aim at least 3 cups right and consistently it is 5-10 feet of break on every putt from 15-20 feet. This is insane. Hopefully it is addressed with the new ball physics in 2019. Can you explain looking at gridlines? Is that in the overhead view? Zoom down to ground level and line the gridlines up with the bottom of your TV screen. Go one by one from the one behind the ball up to the hole. You can see the tilt of each gridline pretty well when measured against the bottom of the screen.

I get the beads are an average slope of the width of the grid, so they are not always accurate, but it works in every single other golf game as was working very well in TGC1. For some reason, something changed and the ball breaks twice as much as it did in TGC1. Takes some adjusting to but I feel its pretty unrealistic for a putt to have dozens of feet of break in a relatively short distance. Hoping to see some videos from E3. I know HB has something set up down the street from the main venue there in LA.

It doesn't work with a curved screen no wonder I miss so many putts lol.

I’ll just leave this one here. Anyone else get this or is it just my ball that floats above the surface of the green until it’s past the hole without taking any break? Nice to see HB kept this in TGC 2019

Nice to see this has been fixed Good news is HB just said they removed the “Ghost” breaks from TGC2 Bad news is they installed the “Mirage” break so it seems.

Looks like the hover putt to me. He didn’t hit it that hard and notice the abrupt speed change. It might have to do with 144. It moves maybe a cup from his marker. That isn’t normal.
