I thought it about time i made a donation to this society since its really the only one i play in these days, so i have dropped you 100 k, now this is not to buy yourself new frocks Carol, it is to pay out these W.T. boys that keep running off with all your money, especially that Smoothe one. hehe Hahah! So funny Hubby and I were just in there playing and my jaw dropped when I saw the *increase* (holy cow) in the bank amount. Can't thank you enough! I have to say we really have an amazing group of players here in the society and I have been very fortunate to have made friends with all of you. Are you sure I can't get me a diamond cut putter? They are on sale

Slipped a brown envelope containing 5k coins to the society janitor Carol... Thanks for selecting Stargazer Cove.... Those winds on the front 9 of round 1 were very testing... Managed to record 16 under par through the 36 holes which included a lip out albatross on #12 round 1 & a lip out ace on #16 round 2. Good luck to all the members... Sam

Sam Thanks Sam for your support It was my pleasure to host your design as I have always enjoyed your course creations. Sounds like a whirlwind of a time for those who have not played rounds yet. Perhaps I should leave my hat at home. Nice score btw hope I can do at least that good.

Another fun course to play was Stargazer Cove. Thanks SAM for designing another beauty. There were some strategically placed bunkers which tightened up some tee shots, some great risk/reward holes and what looked like a giant telescope or big umbrella over a party patio hi atop a mountain I had to put on the weight belt for the front 9 of round 1 to keep from getting blown away.Of course I had a slow swing with water right to cost me one shot and a couple outright yips with the putter cost me on 13 and 14 of round 2 and but made up partially by holing out on 17 and a short eagle putt on 18 couple.59,57 bound to clipped but overall pretty happy with the result.

Any one can join as long as you aren't using aids to straighten your shot! Played this course and found it to be absolutely stunning. The first 13 or so holes had some really tough winds, I actually saw 24mph at one point. I felt I did well. There were four situations, and I don't blame the designer, where I would hit a club like my 2 Hybrid which has a 232 carry. There was like a 1mph head wind, hit it p/p and it went about 198 yards and plugged me in the sand. Hitting from the fairway I went back to check the shot and yeah, I was hitting from the fairway. It happened with a 130 carry club that went 120 yards with the aid of a 1 mph tail wind. So at this point I'm thinking just not taking a full swing, but then had two other occasions where the ball went 15 yards further than the carry with no explanation. Having stuff like this happen on one club, one shot I'll take credit that I did something wrong. Here it was just odd. Anyway all that cost me a bogey and probably a couple of birdies but I also missed some really simple putts for eagle and birdie so I was just bleeding shots away. I will say this, after playing in 24 mph wins to come in on round 2 with having like no wind, it took me some time to readjust!

Felt like I was playing really well for the first 2/3's of round 1, then hopped onto the par train at some point. Ended up being able to equal your 1st round score, which is solid by my standards as I generally struggle quite a bit in windy conditions. Guess I have a number to shoot at for round 2 - great playing!

Putting your society in Xbox shows no results found Societies are not cross-platform, unless "official" like TGCTours, unfortunately. This is a PC society.

Ok thanks anyway It indeed is unfortunate that Societies are not cross platform, many thanks for inquiring about joining. I would suggest the RRCC Society which is for all platforms and free to join if you have not already. Here is link to information and it is never to late to join. tgctours.proboards.com/thread/13367/rrcc-tour-reviewer-recommended-challenge

Shot an interesting 64-54. Struggled R1, but really played great R2. Had two fast downswings on easy shots or could have reached -20.

Felt like I was playing that whole first round on the edge and then I looked up at the end and I had a 59.
Missed a lot of putts in the second round, including a couple lip-outs, and found myself sitting at -26, 2 shots back of stallion, on the 18th tee.
It's a shame you can't get a replay of your last shot of a round (or at least I couldn't figure out how to do it), because I holed out my second shot for an albatross to finish at -29.

That score put you at the top of the leaderboard and with less than and hour to play, I would say you have the win in your pocket. Great turnout for SAM 's course with 58 entrants. I noticed in the shout box you mentioned you published a course, I will get that on the society asap.
