Love the game! But here is mine:
I wish even par were a better score.
I hit some crazy drives way outside of the "Sweet Spot" and still end up in the fairway without much of any distance penalty. I think a more severe penalty for missing the sweetspot would bring those scores down.

I want more generic options in the designer. Specifically walls that dont have water height requirements. Think of it, one wall that you could set the in ground depth would change everything. Walls, fences, embankments, flower boxes, retaining support, the list goes on and on.
I want access to the raw data. I want to write an article talking about how someone birdied the last 7 holes to win by one, or doubled bogeyed the last to lose. I have to make it up now...

I want my Putter back. The new One is a totally Desaster. Combined with the new Powderfinger Changes, this week was totally Crap at The Golf Club. Things can only get better. Heads Up & back to the Putting Practice.

OB and drop mechanics and side hill lie indicator just and arrow one way or the other is fine with me, tournaments that start only when you start them and rounds that only have to be played once and options to turn off HCP info and more club options

something small but I would like different colour flag sticks.. with augusta in mind.. the magnolia version is brilliant but think some yellow flags would make it more augusta like.. also yellow for example at sawgrass for the players championship and maybe different types like the red wicker baskets at merion, that would be pretty cool!

How about personalised flags for each course, I am sure some of the great course designers would love to have there own course flags

I think a more severe penalty for missing the sweetspot would bring those scores down. Those must be some big fairway. I miss "way outside" and I'm usually tasting water or severe rough. Though I would like to see a 65 being a very good score with maybe an occasional 62. Where everything went perfect. But then I worry those 70's become 80's and people get discouraged. Need an OB. Different pin locations would be another wish. Choose your own clubs, I want a 7-wood. You start a tournament with a certain wind, if you stop and comeback either the next day or later in the week you continue with the same wind. I'd like to be able to add water in the GNCD in a way where I can cover an area and press a button and have it be leveled. Currently if you're building on a slope, building a lake is awfully tough to do.

Why do so many want OB? I've played many shots IRL from the wrong fairway because of a bad tee shot. I love the fact that I can do the same in TGC. I always hated the strict OB in the TW series and would hate to see that in TGC, because we all know that some designers would use it to artificially make their courses harder just like some do by putting every pin on a severe slope.

Because with ob there come a proper drop mechanic or there should, personally with HB I would not count on it, especially since PG released way to early to cause any kind of mass exit from TGC
When I saw and heard PG's release state of dev/play I was more disappointed about no pressure being put on HB than PG play ability.
If TGCTOURs did not exit I would drop TGC and go back to links until I heard HB got this game in shape

Im forever using the wrong fairways to get to the green at my local course there is soo many bail outs for my inconsistant drives!!

Remove the crazy dial-a-distance loft currently allowed. Hitting 4 iron at 100% from a fairway to match the distance a full 9 iron goes is just silly. No wonder people who can constantly hit close to the white line shoots mid to high 50's most of the time.
Perhaps make it easier to hit straight and then force players to fade/draw or hit in-between shots purely on feel alone. Should bring scores back up to somewhat more normal ones I hope.

As in Being out of bounds that would mean the boundary of the course. You would not be out of bounds if you hit it on another fairway to the one you're playing unless the course designer put white stakes along the left or right of the hole that you are playing. OB would greatly enhance this game

The fact when you hit it down a mountainside or cliff and can't get it back up. So you take the mandatory max strokes. That's the reason I want it..

I agree with your loft argument but I think it would be wrong to make it easier to hit straight because it really isn't that hard to hit the ball straight at the moment
