Remove the crazy dial-a-distance loft currently allowed. Hitting 4 iron at 100% from a fairway to match the distance a full 9 iron goes is just silly. No wonder people who can constantly hit close to the white line shoots mid to high 50's most of the time. Perhaps make it easier to hit straight and then force players to fade/draw or hit in-between shots purely on feel alone. Should bring scores back up to somewhat more normal ones I hope. I'm always curious why others automatically think these are the reasons others score low?

How about the ability to mark the putt straight after hitting it on the green. Putting while your opponents ball is straight in front of you is a bit silly

1. Ability to take an unplayable lie. I've had more than one occasion where a ball ended up under a staircase, land bridge, etc. I end up hitting the next shot, but had no idea where it wass going because it ricochets off the underside to just about anywhere, sometimes right back where I started. I also think this would help with the "down the mountain" dilemma.
2. Improved sand trap physics. It's very rare irl that a drive straight into a fairway bunker becomes buried in the sand without any roll. Sometimes bunker bound balls even roll out. In any case, I think balls hit into the sand with a low lofted club, say 7i-Driver should not become buried most of the time.
3. Cart paths. Not sure if this is available already or not, but I haven't noticed them.
