Out of interest is anyone else doing a purpose built par 3 course? Not sure what you mean by "purpose built" but mine is a par 3. Published yesterday: Par 3 @ Hazardville Lakes

Published yesterday: Par 3 @ Hazardville LakesYeah that was a poor choice of words. I meant all par 3s. It's good to have a nice mix of course types. I might do a all par 5s for the next one

I might do a all par 5s for the next one I was thinking of making mine all par 5's for this one actually. But I already started it with a par 4, then a par 3 so that's out the window. It's a pretty great idea if you ask me. Especially if a lot of them are high risk/reward Eagle opportunities. An all par 5 nine holer would make for some interesting matches in the pandora competition!

My last (Red River Valley) was all par 3's.... this time on Stargazer Cove I'm doing a mix of 2 x par 3, 5 x par 4 & 2 x par 5's to make it par 36.

I'd say a 'famous par 5s of' .... would be the best way to do it. a par of 45 where 27 shots can be achieved would indeed make for very interesting scoring. It would in theory make a good decider track

Broken Hills Dunes coming along nicely. Got the nine playing how I want it for the most part and now on to planting, which judging by the teaser is going to be a fairly tedious process.

Talking of teasers. Here's a nice view of the observatory & telescope dish on Stargazer Cove as you play the final hole....... Should be ready to publish this just before Easter as there's minimal planting required

Going to get stuck into the Queen Course @ Marblehead tomorrow. Been working on some ideas of how I want to work it and thinking about going for a links/countryside type course, flow one into the other and back out. Sounds confusing but I have an idea in my head so will see how it works out Going to take a little bit of inspiration from a couple of local courses

Hi, Fort Lonesome Bay is routed and smells pine sap. No doubt I will meet some bear while designing, but I have my honey pot to sooth them Dominique
