ok so chipping used to kill me. Heck when I started I was flopping everything off the green! But I have settled on the LW. I use the LW for everything except where I can Flop, the key is loft.
Like Knight said it is pretty much a 1:1 on roll out. So keep that in mind when you have say 9 10 or 11 yards to the pin. loft down and hit. Nice thing is if you are off, the ball doesn't rocket across the green like the other clubs do. You'll find your self in tap in range almost every time!
Also wind, it affects the shot as well. It took me a long time to realize this. once you start playing the wind and not the green you will start sinking more chips, just make sure you are landing the ball pretty close to the hole. With the speed of the chip it pretty much goes dead straight. Of course if you are further away like 10-13 yards, then you have to factor in both wind and slop of the green.
Give it some practice and I am sure you'll find yourself sinking more chips!
