Xbox players still play TST? Join 4 letter word , simulation sanctuary , sim shady , true sim express. Stop wasting your time. Barefoot Golfers (SIM) is another good sim society... it’s tst settings with no aim marker.

I am really enjoying playing again on Master and in a Master society - 4LW. But that is on Xbox and I think you're on PS aren't you? Been meaning to try USE as that sounds like my cup of tea but I just don't think I have the time for that too at the moment unfortunately.

Just want to remind TST players that the USE (Ultra Sim Experience) runs PRO and Master events on Xbox, PS, and PC. Very similar to TST with a couple exceptions (no follow cam, splash shots from bunkers only, no marker). All skill levels are welcome. There is no cutline or entry fees and they have their own proboards. www.ultra-sim-experience.proboards.comYou can request to join through the following thread - tgctours.proboards.com/thread/29181/use-master-tours-xbox-playstationor go to the proboards site and request to join there. It would be great to see TST players in USE.

USE Linksland is an Ultra Sim Series of 10 tournaments on great links courses with 1 major on a classic Open Championship course. USE rules that are basically splash only from sand lies ,no follow cam and none of those un sim like ghost balls that play out of turn (3 alt turn ghosts allowed). Master swing difficulty. No commitment to play every week so if you fancy a couple of links rounds extra a week give it a try. Private society so send a request if you're interested, all skill levels welcome. Society name To The Linksland (PC and Playstation) Video of my 2 Linksland rounds, was such great fun and putted well unlike my TST first 2 rounds, holed a few long birdie putts which always feels great.

Interesting round for those that find the short game boring and arcade easy. Ignore my poor long game (fighting the lazy stroke) but the short game is fun when it isn't so predictable. Charles likes a bump and run and I like a high chip/pitch like the pros on the PGA Tour, both shots equally effective. I even had a nice pitch in from 25 yards, not only do you need to hit the shot well you need to feel the distance and that's golf(bit of skill involved). The splash in this game is arcade rubbish and ruins the short game, miss the green then just dart splash to the hole with zero skill, can't believe people still play it, it's so crap. Long chipping is a skill in this game and Charles puts me to shame how good he is at scrambling with that shot.

USE Season 6 series 2 now has 2 rounds over 4 day tournaments. USE is now a pubic society with no aid restrictions apart from advising no vibration and ghost balls, simple non sim stuff.
We will also be going big time into cross platform sim live cross platform competitions when it goes live. All skill levels welcome.
TRUE SIM: USE Cross Platform on XBox,PC and Playstation.

Hello All.
If you like playing the TST way, I run a society for PC called 'The REAL Sim Tour'. Be good to see some people drop by and give it a go.
Cheers
Simon

Hi to all, just a notice to everyone interested in getting yer feathers ruffled a bit: we (thats me and Skunky) have been thinking a while of starting a little niche for the 'extremists' out there who want to go all the way in this great game of ours. So we finally crossed the rubicon and set up a society for players who dare to go 1 step beyond!! and give it a go at the bare knuckle level: Legend!! We will be setting up a roster with only really good & tested courses to be played at a 1 round go-around. We are still making a list and have collected a nice bunch. It will be one tournament within a 2 day schedule. In due course we will set up a full season for 2024 with 55 tournaments, 5 majors, 5 'specials', the rest regular. It will ultimately be TAN-handicapped with unique handicaps only for TAN players. A points reward leaderboard will also be part of the competition. Player with most points at the end of the season is TAN champion. For more information check out TAN thread plus USE pro-boards website. The playing conditions will be realistic with the Real game in mind. So also pre-shot aids off. Ofcourse course selection is important as we want it to be as realistic as possible. The legend level will take care of the rest LOL! We have been playtesting at the legend level and it looks like PAR is going to mean a bit more then just 'average'. For most there will be a learning curve as off-centre hits will be in play big time, especially for the long game. The short game and putting seems to be pretty much the same as on the Master level although one will have to always be focussed. On legend level there will be a challenge in hitting good shots all the time. Scrambling and good course management will be a major factor. Again, there will be a learning curve. But par's will be 'tough as nails'. On the up-side: your master or pro level game could very well improve even more once you get wacked around on legend! So, everybody is welcome to give it a go. Please spread the word if you can so we can get a good field together.

TAN is now on Playstation and Xbox so everyone can test themselves on the hardest difficulty this game has.
