My first course from scratch in TGC2 and also my first tropical course ever. Hopefully i captured the feel of an island resort golf club, that was the goal. Par 72 Gold Tees = 7,428 Black Tees = 6832 Fairways = Normal Greens = Firm and Fast Only two tee box setups to keep some integrity of the course records. Sorry red/ladies tee peeps, no cheapies for you here I'll get some pics or video up soon.

Nicely done! Fun layout with some testy greens. Really a challenge if your not spot on your approach shots. Thanks for all your time & effort!

One thing I did with this course, and it is prevalent at the end of the fairway on hole 4 and mid-fairway to the left side bunker on 17 is to sink some trees into the ground to make larger bushy areas. This allowed my to fill in some spots within it with real bushes but reduce the actual amount of planting in those areas.
Your thoughts on how that looks/feels?

I did the same on my new course and didn’t get any negative feedback. As long as it’s done well I think it’s a great space filler

I did that on an older design some time back, I thought it worked out fine imo. I did end up eliminating em' only because I'd changed the particular hole's layout. I didn't notice (nor was I looking for it) but when I go back through I'll take a look & let you know any thoughts if any. No doubt it worked just fine!

I didn't notice that on my playthrough this morning but it sounds like a good idea. By the way it's a great course you've built there, Jimmy.

Your thoughts on how that looks/feels? Looks-wise isn't anything more than a rather large hedge, fine! Feel-wise didn't feel a thing when I sliced my ball in to em' except maybe wanting to create a new profanity!
